I've been working on this for a few months now, only because I had hit a snag with how to put on the legs in a stable fashion so they wouldn't break off every time i picked it up lol. after a mind blowing "eureka" moment, I just finished it up last night, i may want to add more plating, but before i did i figured i'd post it up here so i can get any hints or criticism before i start painting it. so here it is

all C&C is welcome, thanks!

AWESOME! Lots of Dakka, mega Killy, mega Stompy, mega Krumpin', Mega 'urty... I think you've met the Big Mek technical Specifications nicely. BTW imo with ork Builds it is par for the course to list the kits you plundered to make it.

But of course good sir lol, i used a deff dread kit (main body, main frame for the arms, legs, big shootas, one leg pad)

Killa kan kit (used to extend the main body, arms, and legs were looted to beef up legs and arms. shoulder pads used 2 of the klaws, one from each kit to make the rippa klaw)

A tau gunship (used the weapon as a kllkannon, modified of course, and looted the tau engines to use as feet lol)

Also, i used a dozer blade from (i think) a chimera, or something of the sort as the main "face" also used random bits here and there such as the searchlight from a stompa as a cyclopes eye.

That's impressive. My one criticism is that the body looks disproportionately small compared to the arms and legs. It's very thin, and although you've elongated it, that really kind of emphasizes how skinny it is.

Could you possibly bulk up the shoulders or drop some plasticard shielding down from the existing shoulder guards to block out some of that and create the impression that his torso is wider?

I hadn't noticed that until you mentioned it, great call. Unfortunately with the positioning of the arms i may only be able to bulk up the area closest to the body. But as that's the point I think I should be able to pull it off and make it look suitable shoddy. Thanks

That is Boss!

I would hate to cover up any of that detail with more plating, but extra armour does keep them on the table, doesn't it. So I looked at it a bit longer, then I decided to look at it and try to think of something to say about it... I came up with the things butt looks bare... No, seriously, first I thought some sort of skirt (skulls on chains, knives hanging down) but then I though of a ladder, or sections of ladder to help the pilot climb up the back. Maybe put some barbed wire on the lowest section so pesky humans can't get up.

Awesome work, all the way round.

Thanks good green i was actually planning on adding some wiring between the legs and the hips, more than likely base guitar wires, as from what I've seen from people using them, they look awesome as coils. It's also funny you should mention the ladder idea, as i have a trukk ladder kicking around, and actually tried fitting in it the area you're describing, it just didn't work though. i'll try to add more grubbins though to fill the space
