In the DE codex it says that the DE captured some SW's and turned them into wracks but they looked just like wulfen.
Are there any other types of strange wracks?
Also would it look cool to have wracks that look like werewolves?

Don't they capture the initiates and try to clone Leman Russ from the gene-seed?
Regardless it would be awesome to have wulfen as wracks.
I really liked the wracks that the DE used against the Tau...

Thanks

I assumed they were...
I mean having a primarch for sport would not only demoralise the SW it would also provide a lot of fun in the arenas... though he might escape and bring down the entire kabal and return to Fenris to lead the SW on a mahoosive crusade through which he creates a new golden age for the imperium... just saying.

I think every Wrack's appearance is down to the creator Haemonculus' tastes. They are living sculptures afterall. Flesh sculptures...that kill people...with their own blood...which is acidic....

Oh Deldar you so naughty!

Wracks are Dark Eldar who are effectively Haemonculi in the training or initiation stages. Grotesques are the tortured victims of the Haemonculi reshaped into killing machines.

I don't know if Wracks become Haemonculi. From what I gathered they were kinda like sycophants who were so devoted that they let the Haemonculi sculpt their flesh. I guess kinda like apprentices that never advance.

Wracks are hopeless initiates. I don't think they ever reach Haemonculi-hood. The codex states that the Haemonculi hold disdain for them and the Dark Eldar in question pretty much have nothing else to lose. Course, I could be wrong. On a different note, I didn't think they were trying to clone Russ, I just thought they were perverting the Gene-seed and being rapey.

ED: Though the idea of them trying to replicate Russ is interesting.

MOST wracks are DE. They are test tube babies that are grown in tanks and never really made it as a warrior. They lack fame, money, or standing so they end up as a Haemi experiment.

Haemi's in training probably never make it out of the lab. They can get enough pain there when they are young. After they graduate from apprenticeship their desires and appetites grow and they need to go out onto the real battlefield to get their fix. By this point they have altered THEMSELVES to what we see on the battlefield.
So in short, wracks are altered by someone else. Haemi's are altered by themselves. A wrack is not a haemi in training but rather just some poor sod who couldnt make it as a warrior or a wych.
