I am keeping track of my progress on this year's Adepticon army on my blog. Normally I keep a mirror blog thread here on Dakka but this year due to a computer from the stone ages finally about to croak and my fancy new smart phone I am doing a lot of the updating from an app. So I will link to my blog here, watch it for the most up to date additions, but when I do hop on the computer I will get in here and update the thread with progress.

And featuring the little boomerang kid. The grot's pointy arm has since been replaced. I thought I was out of grot arms but I found a better pointy one by chance among my gallon of bits.

Morks' head has changed about five times since I made his body, but I think this is the one. It's been hard to find a head that would A. look good with hair and B. be the right scale to the body. Most have been either too small or too big.

That ork has tits.

Looks really nice, though a few more pics would help to get a better idea of what's going on on the model.

I like the look of it. Some of the detail is hard to see, due to the size of the pic. I always love a grot sidekick.

I checked out your site too. Very nice work there. I've got high hopes for this WAAAGH.

Master Blaster/Thraka





It is kinda hard to tell what's going on with the lighting but it will make more sense once it is painted.

I redid the list today as the Makk Tanker Trukk is just going to be too big to count as a Trukk, so I swapped it out for a Wagon and swapped some stuff around so it will fit. I will post the new version soon.

The Humongous and Wes



The Humongous isn't leaning as bad as the photo makes out. It's a product of perspective and losing his other leg behind his body. Also in hindsight I am going to swap their boss poles. Doesnt make sense for the #2 to have a larger boss pole.

Not as extensive conversion wise as the others, they just sort of fell together out of perfect bits and I left it at that.

And with these two down, all 50-some Orks are done! All that is left at this point is some more vehicle riders and the Deffcopta gyro. The display is coming along well but I decided to get some more varied plasticard so it is on hold for the time being.

Awesome post-industrial look - particularly like the greenstuff mohawk, and the overall 'busy' look of the models. Also second the bosspole swap - it will help to balance each model's compostion.

Da Makk Trukk





Sans riders and hanger's-on as usual. This is the reason I had to rework the list to have another wagon instead of a trukk It's rather large.

I love every single one of these. Do you think you could make a model for Ironbar Bassey (the guy in Beyond Thunderdome with a doll's head bosspole on his back)? IMHO he was the most awesome character from that film.

I mainly just went for the bigger characters as HQ and various nobz. The problem with making specific characters is if you start making regular orks into characters, you have a bunch that also represent no one. So I am going for a balance of Mad Max flavored Orks rather than a representation of the movies themselves.

The models are pretty much done, doing some final work on vehicles, mainly the Gyro.

Wow I have never seen you guys bust out conversions of this magnitude before, Amazing stuff!

It's just me. But yes I don't often get commissions to convert as well as paint so I go wild on my Adepticon armies. Conversions are a labor of love and personalization so 99% of the time the customer does them before sending.

Well, I would imagine after seeing these some people might elect for a little of your love instead of their own Brandon! That 18 wheeler is BOSS

Is the Mina Morker going to be a Objective marker, or a character? And the "...ork with boobs determined to rule." confused the crap outta me.

Haha yes the tagline is ripped from a thunderdome poster and its talking about Aunty Entity/Tina Turner (Mina Morker). In the original it says "a woman."

She is a Nob in the Nob squad. I was going to make her an objective but it didnt seem right, so I just made her a nob.

The objectives are a banner, a base of ammo runts, and the grot with huge bulletin board and speakerphone thing that comes with the forge world mek. I'll take some pictures of them sometime.

This is freaking great! Great conversion of the tanker, use of the trollblood, concept, and the board- wow! Watching this one with interest!

There is a rider being painted seperately that goes on that little platform - a grot wearing the same sort of hat.

That trukk is pure win.

I love that tanker trukk. Hope they don't plan to carry any liquid in it with a huge gash on the side. Sweet display board too. Excited to see it complete.
