So I want to get hold of a Blood Bowl Ogre model for a conversion, but the only place that it seems available is the GW website and even they say that it's 1-2 weeks before it even ships. Does anyone know of another place I could pick up one of these?

They are probably direct only which means online stores will have to order them too and won't be able to get a discount on them.

Your best bet is to search all the online retailers in the hope they have some in stock (highly unlikely).

Other than that - try posting an ad in the swap shop section.

Failing that - ebay.
