Originally I decided I was going to paint all 53 of my Ork Boyz at once, but then I realized I am not a masochist and trimmed it down to the 33 I'll need for my current army list.

Very nice. BTW, I'm curious - why did you decide to assemble groups of models using the same bits, i.e. same head, same arms, same legs and torso. It looks cool, just wondering what your motivations were

It was either have them all matching, or have every single one unique, but with 5 styles and 6 of each, the latter wasn't a possibility.

I spent about an hour or two almost every day for the past 2 weeks. I started with painting all 53 that I have, but I stopped on my 20 AoBR boyz after getting the base and most of the legs done.

Yeah, those look really nice. And I envy the fact that they were painted so much faster than mine lol.

However, I think they could use some "popping" color, like a clan color, to break up the dark tones. Just an idea.

Edit: actually, wait, I see the red. maybe it's the white background that makes it look darker, I know it does that to my bad moons. Great job.

Their red shirts I guess are their clan color. I decided on red to tie them in with the rest of the army since I'll be running a speed freeks list.

Nicely painted, I just worry that the dark colour scheme means the models all sort of blend into themselves and the rest of da boyz. I might be tempted to lighten some of the colours - either the skin or the clothing, just to help define the rest of the model.

They look great, and you're a really fast painter! 2 weeks! Sometimes takes me longer to get out of bed!
