I've had some nurgle marines around the place for some time now... and thought along with my Blood Angels and Dark Elves I need to get crackin' on at least giving them an undercoat... so along with my new arrived Forgeworld marine and terminator upgrades I also bought Army Painter spray/primer - Bone colour...

I really prefer the bone colour on Nurgle models to the green (I have painted far too many orks/orcs to want to paint green again this year!)

My main question is, does anyone else have any bone coloured Nurgle or Chaos in general, and if you do... can you show me please, along with how you washed/highlighted it all?? Would be greatly appreciated for the help it would give me - plus it is always great looking at other peoples projects

Mine aren't bone as such, however, they are a white/brown colour. You can see them in my PLog linked to in my signature.

If you look in my gallery there's more pictures. I've kept my plague marines the traditional greenish but my un-blessed standard marines I went with a rough/faded deathguard color scheme to show their old legion colors.

Basically based black, undercoat brown, 2 layers bleached bone for even coloring then washed with a gryphon sepia. The trim is catachan green, metal bits shining gold dry brushed over black.

I've painted mine by layering astronomican grey up to skull white and adding bits of gryphone sepia around any studs, joints etc to get dirty look. I did some rust around a few bits to and painted the sholder rims bight green. I'll post pics in a second ^^
