I was fine with original Lylyth, Madrak I need to see in 3d.

These seem...unnecessary.

I want to see re-sculpts of the Gorax and Feral Warpwolf please.

(and also Stormblades, but Cygnar's had a lot of resculpt love so I guess that's unlikely)

Alt Battlebox warlocks are supposed to be for people who aren't
interested in picking up a battlebox but they do want to pick up
the warlock.

I really like the new Lylyth, and I'll not complain about having more model options for things I already like anyway!

Edit: And these PP painters make me so jealous...

That Lylyth is a big improvement. Can't say the Madrak is much different though.

This Madrak is better the old version always seemed to be saying "Look at my crotch!"

I actually really like the original Lylyth and hope to paint mine someday, despite not playing Warmahordes. New one ain't bad either, might have to get her to keep her sister company in the closet ...

I don't know what it is, but the vast majority of the Privateer items I don't care for at all. Some of the warjacks look good, and some of the Menoth look alright. I don't know it is the pastel type paint schemes that they seem to use, or the miniatures themselves. It isn't even about GW loyalty. I like other companies quite a bit.

Its definitely a stylistic difference in taste. Either you like it, or don't. It takes getting use to.. in comparison to GW and other wargaming lines.

Must buy new Lylyth...

Might have something to do with how blobby the figures are. I tried for the longest time to like the models, but no matter how popular the games are, and how much better the ruleset is, the sculpts keep putting me off.

I think the new Madrak is amuch better sculpt than the previous one in the starter and its also good for those that dont want to buy the sarter... a must buy for me. Check the 3d rotation and you will see even better angles of this cool troll.

And also I'm sure when one starts to play it, you get more used to it. When I got the first Catachan box set that had the infantry, 2 Sentinels, and a Leman Russ tank, I didn't plan on using the Leman Russ as I didn't think it was a good looking tank. Now, I'm on my 2nd Imperial Guard army, and have six and love them. I guess I finally associated the looks of the tank with power and armor and haven't given it a second thought since.

The detail on these is incredible, and the painter's skill is good too. That face on that large fellow just is a bit odd to me.

Probably the nose, or lack therefor of. Trollkin get that a lot.

Agreed. I really don't see that much of a difference between the old and new. The arrow hand is also a little different but it's still the same basic pose.

Maybe it's just the paint job, but did they give Lylyth a boob reduction?

I think its just a little less "restrictive" myself.

Was actually commented in another place that thought they Increased her boob size.

I love that they did away with the clown collar style for Madrak's runestones.

I agree, the biggest reason I couldn't stand the old Madrak was the sad clown pose. This one is looking much better and I may get one just for painting it.

Thirded. The stupid runestone necklace is what put me off old madrak. This one is a much better sculpt. If only this was PP's consistent quality.
