Made entirely from spare bitz from the Cadian Battleforce box. The body was largely made from the free buildings sprue... very chopped up of course!

Very impressive work. The pilot seems a little exposed, but aside from that, an excellent job and some very creative use of bits.

Think I should adda rollcage for him? He's certainly fearless driving this thing around, guess he just ducks if he gets shot at -there's certainly a few chunks out of the armour! Those pesky Black templars keep shooting missiles at him you see...

I haven't any unpainted photos I'm afraid, only just got digicam, I'll make sure to photograph future projects in stages. I can take more shots from different angles if you like so?

The body is mostly shapes cut from the ruined building sprue, I chopped up the floor pieces along the flagstone lines to effectively get squares of thick plasticard, and the front is cut from two of the corners with a Leman Russ hatch to patch the join. A round slottabase, some hatch parts, and a lot of bodging did the trick!. The 'shoulders' and feet were cut from the dozer blade, and the legs were made by chopping up the dozer blade pistons. Some Lascannon powerpacks and half a mortar created the powerplant up top, and I added a greenstuff cable as if it's broken down and been jury-rigged in the heat of battle.

I'm thinking of changing the auutocannon - oit looks nice, and two shots a turn is handy, but he never seems to kill anything! AP4 just ain't enough... I suppose I ccould magnetise it and make some gun swaps?

yes magnetize it. this is very useful, one other thing if you're going to keep the auto cannon is to add a horizontal mag ala the Sten gun this just seems like the way an IG autocannon should work.

5 months ago? Now I feel terrible I haven't painted the rest of the army yet! :-(
