Do you like the Tau and their models?
Personally, I love the Devilfish, Hammerheads, Pathfinders and Fire Warriors so I'm just wonderin' what models you like.

I personally love the way Tau look, and that was the original reason I got into them.

It all depends on the person. Some think the GK are cool, others think the IG are cool, while some still believe the Nids are cool.

The one thing tau have going for them is their models are different than the other ones in 40k, giving them a different aesthetic sense.

The boxy aesthetic of the crisis suits makes me wobbly in the knees.

I think I may be the first to say that I prefer GW's version of crisis suits to the Forgeworld one.

I've seen good boxy conversions of the Tau Suits, but honestly I prefer the rounder FW suit over the GW one. The Tau suits tend to break the whole sleek and round aesthetic that's more consistent with the fire warriors, drones and tanks.

Love the way Tau look...Kroot I do not like...at all. I understand they are a must for a Tau army, but I just do no think they look cool at all.

However I for one don't really like the unhelmet Tau

I agree

Love the infantry and battlesuits, but hate their vehicles. Plus, i dont care what GW or anyone says, these guys are begging for giant robot titans.

I actually think Kroot are cool looking. Kroot hounds too. Drones are cool. Their Devilfish is neat, too.

I liked the old stealth suits. I think they were the originals anyway (that might still exist. clueless here), the smaller ones. I don't like the boxy-lump ones.

I think the Tau Infantry are awesome, but I agree its always got to be helmets on, the Tau heads just look stupid. Vehicles are very nice but somewhat more variation would be nice. I think the stealthsuits that look similar to firewarriors are nice, not the boxier ones though. I absolutly hate the crisis suits...too boxy in comparisin to the rest of tau models. I like the FW crisis suits much better, they look more Tau'ish. Just my oppion but when i look think about Tau I think Sleek Technology. I love the look of the Pirahna, unfortunatly i have never found them very useful.

I think the kroot models are wonderful they look great lots of detail that are great for kroot fluff.

The vespid on the other hand, not to crazy about, I am not sure what i dont like about them they just dont look right to me.

I am just not an anime/gundam person, and I think they're pretty cool. If you like that shiz, Tau are amazing.

OT, does anyone else think that Japan's SDF are manufacturing Crisis suits beneath Hokkaido?

Their tanks, FW and especially their Railguns look amazing, but the *Suits... ugh...

Horrible jokes aside, what I like about the Tau are the Kroots, I like how they look like.

the only thing I wish for with the Tau models is a little more posing options with the battle suits. I always loved giant robot suits.

I must be one of the only people who started collecting Tau because of the similarity to the works of Roger Dean.

I love the battle suits and that's one of the main reasons I started playing them, and I just couldn't resist making a Farsight due to his awesome model.
I do wish Firewarroirs where better since I love their models as well.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't Tau have "short" life spans when compared to humans? If so that can explain it, they just don't live enough to be the best ones, a Space Marine Sargeant can be around 100 years old :/ That gives a lot of time to practice in and out of combat.

Relevant point but in their short life span the fire warriors practice their drills everyday

I love kroot, I just love them. They look awesome, they smell awesome, and they love awesome.......what?
I even started a kroot merc army, I have 60 carnivores and counting, thats just carnivores btw

Only I like are the crisis suits other than that I dislike tau greatly in all their aspects

I think the Crisis suits could always look better. The coolest models to me are the fire warriors and the stealth suits. And the devilfish looks pretty sweet.

Hazard Battlesuits from FW are the coolest things. But i've always had a thing for the Tau in general...

I hate Tau, they're stupid!
