Try posting them on the Gallery, once you've done that, copy and paste the "Forum" code which you will find towards the bottom of every image. No need to add [img] before and afterwards.

Also, dakka supports html. If you have somewhere else to host them you can use img tags.

First i'd recommend not INTERNET SCREAMING BY TYPING ALL CAPS!!!!! People find that almost as annoying as oNly TypINg 1337 speek, lol
Then, i'd recommend reading the stickies on top of each forum that describe what each forum is for so you post stuff in the appropriate one. This one, for instance, is NOT for posting questions but instead for posting threads with completed painted minis; questions actually belong in the regular painting and modelling forum and are quite welcome there. After that... follow the advice listed above.

This is in such the wrong forum, I'm surprised it didn't move itself.

In Soviet Russia, question answers you!

Moved to proper forum.

Trust me, no matter what damage they have the potential to do, single-shot weapons always flatter to deceive in 40k.                                                                                                       Rule #1

A 'please' or 'thank you'wouldn't go amiss either.

Photobucket is pretty awful. Images disappear off it all the time, and the bandwidth is severely limited. Upload to the Dakka gallery, it's obscenely easy. Also don't write in all caps, it makes you look like a tool.

And, even if those things were not true (but they are) - photobucket is blocked at work for many users. The Dakka gallery is generally not.

I've never had a problem with the bandwidth at all. I had a couple of images removed once because, IIRC, they had boobs. (Won't anyone think of the children!!)

Isn't that UBB code, not HTML?

Me neither. Photobucket's always been reliable for me.

Upload a picture to the gallery here on dakka, then right and view image.

Then copy the web address, paste that in the desired thread and add [img] to the start of it and [/img?] to the end.

Remove the ? and bobs your dirty uncle image posted.

In addition to all this, bringing us sandwiches or other goodies will help pics show in your posts. Honest.

1.) Pics are in the internet: copy the internet address of the pic to your post, mark the address and then hit the "image" button above the input field to automatically add the "image" tags [img] and the same with /img in brackets at the end (you can also type them manually if you want, make sure they are right before and after the address and usually you want a line before and after the image).

2.) Pics are on your computer. Either upload them to Dakka's gallery, photobucket or any other website for uploading pics, copy the resulting internet address and procede as above. Or use the attachments button below the input field and upload the pics directly, so that they show at the end of your post.

Unless you meant to put "on the internet on an image hosting site" then that would be hotlinking which is strongly discouraged. (it is, essentially, stealing someone else's bandwidth which does, after all, cost money.) It also doesn't work if the host is set to prevent hotlinking.
