After seeing a lot of true scale of Space Marine, i'm wondering if someone have planned a true scale ork army or if someone can give me hint about doing it.

I'm not too keen on orks, but weren't they roughly the same size as humans? The boyz anyways. I know the orks higher up on the totem pole get larger.

I think Necroshea makes sense, an ork continually grows in size depending on how long he lives and fights, Ghazzy is reportedtly supposed to be 8 or 9ft tall, whereas a standard boy is likely to stand around 6ft (ish) and nobz about the size of a marine, with warbosses (in general) being around the size of a termie.

I think it's one of those things where it would look good, but there is too much size variation to bother...

@OP: You do realise Orks are "truescale" already right? It's right there in the Ork dex- "A typical Ork stands about the height of a man, though he would be much taller if he would only stand up straight..." (Ork dex page 4)

Note how they're bow legged, much like the Space Marine models.

The main thing with truescaling marines was that apart from bulking out a few things, the process was quite straightforward (not that it didn't take some skill in the first place fellas!!!)

To make an ork look good scaled up, you're going to have to resculpt muscle and anatomy. There's be less off the sprue bits you could readily use.

It's a challenge!

I dunno, practically every attempt at "truescaling" i've seen looks like the SM is Peter Crouch after he's been on a torture rack for several hours.... I like to think all SM's are truescaled anyway and other models are out of scale (IIRC Jes himself thinks this too)

It isn't the SM that are the problem. It's the rest of the range being too large for 28mm scale. Guard especially are oversized and stand at the exact same height as Space Marines. The reason people do "truescale" projects is because it's easier to increase the height of a Space Marine than it is to reduce the height of the rest of the model range.

Ghazzy looks pretty damn huge on the Armageddon codex, but artistic license might be in use there.

I can forsee big orksies being 3-4 metres but only the biggest Nobs or warbosses.

Ive always heard of Ghazzy being 14ft tall as far as fluff goes. A standard boy is about the same as a human, so lets say 6 ft. A nob is a good bit bigger then a boyz, so THEY are around 7-8 foot tall. A warboss trumps them in size, so youd figure a Boss would be in the 10ft tall area.

As fluff goes his height changes from time to time
The 6m height posted earlier was indeed from an old WD mag in the Armageddon release.

However, im sure the previous dex says he is roughly 3 times the height of a man.

But fluff aside, if you want a quick and easy way of making truescale orks, there is a simple answer;

Boyz - Use the nobz kit.
Nobz - Use any of the 3 available warbosses (2 metal, AoBR)
Warbosses - Use a dire troll model.

Edit: Couldnt count to 3.

3 times the height sounds about right.

Here he is about 3x the size

As well as something from Lexicanum to state his height

So, 3x the height of a human?
3 x 6 feet=18 feet.
6 meters is 19.69 feet.
So like I said, 6 METERS!
=D

except for the fact that the average height for a human is around 5' 8" or 9", not 6'
so 5 foot 9 inches translates to 1.7526 meters x3 = 5.2578 which is 17.25 feet, almost a foot shorter than 18 feet. However, from a human viewpoint 17 feet might as well be 18, 19, or 20 feet, translating into run fast before it stomps on you. on the plus side we have a much better view to target a certain sensitive spot between his legs.

There is a bit about ork boys growing twice the size of a man in the ork codex. I don't have it with me, but I will check it when I get home. This particular growth occurred at the height of a waaagh.
