While playing in my bitzbox (aka: being bored and looking for bitz. My house has 'em all over so its like one big bitz box) I grabbed a Ravenwing sprue, extra ork pieces, an AoBR dread I had pulled the arms off (used to be a libby, but looked awful) and some rhino parts and misc weapons. I wanted something different than my other ork SM dread (my warboss is inside the other, with his head poking out of the front) and while looking at my Rhino sprues, and idea struck me. An ork inside the dread! Would it work? probably not. But probably not never stopped an Ork before

Love the idea. My only suggestion: make the door for the ork bigger. It looks like his body is suddenly chopped off or something.

He IS chopped off

He lost his legs, and so is hardwired to top of the dread. He cant get down, but as he would say, " who'd wanna git offa dis?"

Very nice looking. I would suggest, as always, some trophies?

adding a few wires and gubbins going into the orks waist would make him look truly part of it.

Possibly more rivits? a grot doing something with the antenna? (not wrongly)

It certainly has enough DAKKA. I too dont like how the boy is "hardwired" in. it just looks like a cop out. The rest looks pretty damn good man, you should just make the effort to make that boy look like hes popping out the top

Yeah, I too aren't keen on the "hardwired" pilot as is - either add more detail to the hardwiring (cables and wires attached all over his torso) or model him as a normal ork looking out a hatch.

Nice idea. Please clean up all those mold lines!

+1 to cleaning the mouldies. Seems like a pain but you'll regret if if they're still there when you're painting it.

I try to clean mold lines. Where did I miss them?

Also, he is still WIP. He will have tons of wires linking him down, or I will make him seem like he's popping out

I think there's some on the gun boxes? I hate mould lines...

It looks like a medical system from the front, but I will be adding a lot more to it to make it look better

After putting together endless marine vehicles, i recognise that part pretty well
Mainly since i scavange the higher up one for my iron hands (front body with Ad mech symbol on it) leaving just that one to use.

The legs look really scrawny... I'd say bulk 'em up.

I added half a rhino hatch to one leg, but thats about it. Painting begins. If it looks weird after painting, I'll add a plate to the other
