I'd like to start a thread by asking those who have pictures of their first or original figures and models they've ever done to post them along side their more current models. I think it will be a fun just to see how far our painting skills have come and showcase the point that everyone has to start somewhere, but in time practice makes perfect.
I'll start with some of my first guard:

Now with the new!

So lets see Dakka!

I am actually redoing one of my first Ork Vehicles now. It was a looted Valkyrie. I hope to finish it this weekend and if I do, I will post some comparison pics in this thread.

Nice idea!

This is a comparison shot I took a few months back of the new(left) vs old(right) Lemartes model, he wasn't the first model I ever did but I can still see an improvement between the two. . .

I also re-painted one of my first ever dreads, this is the same dread before and after. . .

pfl! I'm going to take some pics of older models I've done. I wish I had my first models ever painted in... 2001!! They were the WHFB archers that came with the GW paint set. But I have some models from the first wave of Tau released. What year was that? hmm.

I don't even want to show my older models. But, I thank them for ever being touched by me, as if it weren't for them, I wouldn't be where I am at today.

Seconded in full.

The Fallen are the Dark Angel's most closely guarded secret. None but the trusted brothers of the Inner Circle even know of their existence. Share their burden by joining in their knowledge of that most terrible of truths: Summary of the Fallen
