I dislike the Emperors Childern, but above all I hate the World Eaters. Such a dumb legion.

Word Bearers, not sure why, never got into them back in the Realm of Chaos books. The 'we actually got Horus into Chaos' stuff that has come since is even a bigger turn off.

I think some people are just a bit uncomfortable with Slaanesh. I was too when I just started (the whole manboob thing really turned me off). It gets a little better after you accept the refuge in audacity everything else has.

Personally I dislike the Black Legion/Luna Wolves. They're basically the spiky equivallent of Ultras.

That's why I love Slaanesh. Bashing skulls and drinking blood is one thing, but doing it while wearing pink and acting flamboyant is even better. I like making my enemies feel awkward.

Not to mention being high and playing a guitar in the middle of battle. Rock on!

Thousand Sons? Boring? They are all fused to their armour, making them incredibly hard to kill, and they are ALL librarians, sorta like the GKs, plus Ahriman. Ahriman. 'Nuff said.

Why all the hate for World Eaters? They are great fun to play, and when they're well painted are one of the sexiest armies on the tabletop. What's not to like?

My vote goes to boring legions like Iron Warriors or Night Lords.

I voted for the Word Bearers. If I had to come up with one word to sum them up, that word would be petulant. Which is not a word that conjures badassery at all.

Well when I think of chaos I think of reality imploding and the worst traits of sentient species embodied in daemons that try to kill you. Siege warfare seem so mundane..unless they break your walls down by teleporting chunks of into a realm created by nightmares and sustained by suffering, then they flood the fortress with horrors birthed by raw emotion. If they're just technophiles then...meh.

Ever read Storm of Iron? Ruddy awesome book on the Iron Warriors doing just about that.

I voted for Luna wolves, simply because (horus heresy aside) they haven't really done much except re-paint their armour, I mean:

World Eaters - Became angry khorne-worshipping sons of a b###h who run round killing everything
Thousand Sons - Got turned into egyptian mummy ghost in armour things that cannot be killed
Death Guard - Foul disease-ridden badassery of a legion
Night Lords - Lots of bikes, bat-wings and lightning!
Emperor's Children - Lets just say they throw some wild parties...
Alpha Legion - Sneaky, very sneaky, deviousness to the extreme
Iron Warriors - Hazard stripes and siege guns, enough said
Word Bearers - Galactic equivalent of a mormon with foaming-mouth-fever
but...
Luna Wolves - More-or-less ultramarines but with more grimdarkness...
