Yeah, I am in deep Gak.

This is really ONLY for those who beleive in this sort of thing, I mean, if you don't I can't stop you from posting, but please know that I am being serious in this and would appreciate every post being as Non-Troll as possible. Thank you.

As I said in a thread a long while ago, where we were discussing various, real life "ghost stories/Occult Happenings" (it was a long time ago, probably near nine months ago). I said that I have dreams that come true, I don't know if any of you beleived me. Anyway, one of them is about to come true, and it's going to be bad. As in, Hospitalized-Bad. Quite even Dead-Bad. I don't know, it's not specific enough on that matter.

It is going to happen at work, and I don't exactly want to get too detailed as to what happens, because I don't want anyone pulling this up and thinking I knew before hand, as an accessory. As it always happens with these things, it started very, very fuzzy, and started to gain clarity over time, and when my Security Manager of the store I work in pulled several workers off to the side (including me) to talk about what to do in case of an emergancy, my vision swam and I saw with good clarity where in the store I will be when it happens, and for the last couple of days my shoulder, right between the Shoulder and Collar bone, has been hurting. That is another sign in favor of this event happening, as my physical senses always start feeling what is going to happen before it does. In my "Vision", lets call it, after this event unfolds, my entire vision just went completely Black. Do I black out? Do I faint? Do I die? I don't know, I don't have the faintest idea.

What I don't know, however, is what I should do. I can't tell the store manager because of how suspicious (and crazy) it would sound (Oh hey, we are going to have an emergancy, but I can't tell you who and I can't tell you what day, because I don't know. But don't worry, Everything is going to be fine, I might die, but it's all up in the air right now, ya know?), I can't go to the cops because it would just seem like a crazy dudes ranting, and with the way today's America is, you can't exactly show prior Knowledge to "events" like this.

I just don't know what to do, and I know I am running out of time.

I've never feared Death or Dying. I've only feared never Trying.

Its called Deja View or known as foresight. Its real and some people believe they do have it.

Believe it or not these are caused by dramatic series of events in someones life. Usually caused by the death of departure of a loved one.

I've been experiancing this sort of thing since I was about 8 years old and nothing dramatic was happening in my life at the time.

in fact, my dog would be the first "Dramatic" thing I have ever experiancing.

Well with not much detail into it I could't give you a good answer.

I had some dreams that happened in real life later.

Its odd because I could remeber these dreams as they were alot more detailed and seemed very real while most of my dreams don't make sence.

I would say prepare for it.

If for instance you are shot in the shoulder by a gun in your dream then perhaps buy some Kevlar under armour to make sure you survive a gun shot.

But you didn't give details so I can't give you much advice then to be ready for something to happen.

Basically, the most injuring ailment I have ever had is a scrapped knee.

That would look really suspicious wearing Kevlar, something I don't own in the first place, to work, don't you think?

They have specialty armour these days that fit under work cloths and look just like a white singlet or a work vest.

That was an example but they do have that sort of armour if you need it.

Because I don't know when this is happening, only that it's happening soon, it might not get here in time if I have to order it.

Unfortunately (to both of you), I don't know when this is going to happen, work needs me because of the lack of employees at the moment, I need to go to work because my parents want me out of their house, and the only people I could really turn to is my brother, and he has a pregnant girlfriend he has to look out for and take care of.

They are speicalty stores/gun stores they might have them they are useally on sale in online armour specialty stores that are located in america.

If you think you are going to be shot its best you know what type of gun you saw in your dream then determin what calibar protection you need.

This armour isn't cheap but it can guarantee survivalbilty.

I didn't. I know what the dude was wearing (which, considering my work, it's not that unusual of a outfit, and sadly I can't go into detail on it), but he was too far away and too blury to see what he was holding. I know it was one handed, though. Other than that.....

Get aviator glasses, camo tank top, start working out, shave your hair, start speaking in gruff voice, carry various guns, ammo, combat knives and begin smoking Cubans life will be too afraid to black you out ever again.

A usual hand held will most likely to be a 9MM to 45 caliber so go for the 45 caliber protection thats about IIIA which can cover most handguns.

Look, Slarg, I hate to say this, but...

Getting shot in the shoulder isn't a guarantee that you are going to die. Just have 911 hotkeyed to a number on your phone, and whack it when the gun goes off.

Thier is a main artery in the shoulder but Chowder is right that wont cause your death instantly.

You would die from blood loss

This is a map of the main arteries. As long as what he dreamt, getting shot around the collarbone (I'm thinking mid to outer shoulder, correct me if I'm wrong) Will cause mild blood loss and severe pain due the amount of muscles in it.

The thing is...a bullet doesn't have to severe major arteries on damage major organs to be fatal....

A victim of a gunshot wound can die of shock even if there has been no serious damage done due to the passage of the round.

I'm sorry, but even if this were to happen, how would that be helpful in calming him down?

If this does happen, and if you are hit in an area that causes you to start bleeding from the artery there is a very strong chance that if paramedics get to you, you will survive. You blacking out may mean a few things; its the only thing you're meant to see, you die, you faint, etc.

The best case scenario is that it doesn't even happen, but if it does there is a strong chance that you live. If it does happen, you could get shot there and possibly faint or go into shock from the shot but the chances of you surviving are good. Either way it doesn't hurt to prepare.

Well, that'd solve alot of problems with most jobs, Chowder!

Personally, i would keep calm, be aware but don't change or cause something by you being freaked out while at work.
not sure what you do, but maybe a shooter, or being shot in the area you dreamed is actually saying the point is where
you are hurt, not how. maybe you're driving a forklift at work, you're watching for a gunman, and knock a pallet over that throws.....
you get the point.
