I recently painted up a squad of Terminators painted to be Iron Warriors. Here are the results:

They look awesome! Nice work on the hazards and good use of loyalist parts! ;-)

Ooooooo very slick looking!

I especially like the shading and highlighting on the iron and brass.

So many people play Iron Warriors as an excuse to be lazy about painting.

Badass termies, to be sure. Is it just this picture or did you put a satin finish on these guys instead of matte? There seems to be a very soft shine that suits these guys perfectly.

I didn't use my most flat finish (I reserve that for minis that I've painted with NMMs). These guys were finished using Krylon's matt finish (which is very nice because it does not dull the metals).

Considering how much metal there is on these guys, it wouldn't look wrong if I did finish them with a Satin finish.

Cool beans. I like them. I'd finish adding caution stripes to their right shoulder pad, though. It definitely makes the model seem more finished.

Very nice paint job. They look a little "off" without the trophy racks, but that's just my opinion. I definitely like them.

That is really awesome, I just finished a book and the iron warriors were in it. I now what their appearance is.

To be fair, I'm painting professionally, kind of as a nine-to-six job. Then, since I'm obsessed, I paint a lot of my own stuff in the evenings many days. I would expect that my output would be relatively high.

Great work. I love the dark metal tone you achieved!

Excellent work as usual man. I personally like how you managed to keep the tones on the Chevrons and the tusks and bone very close to one another, keeping the model looking unified and coherent. Great work!

Yeah, the tusks needed to be pretty warm. The base color for those was actually a mustard color I often use for yellows.

Perfect colors! I love the crisp yellow/black hazard markings and the smooth metal effects. Do a dread next! Or an IW Defiler!

Nice work! I love them, I may hate Iron Warriors but I know a good paint job when I see one. They look great, now wheres the rest of them?

The next two minis are already done (and shipped off to their permanent home). I'll post them once I get that batch of photographs ready for the web.

Ah, the draw of chaos is strong! These make me want to start my own set... Alas I do not have the resources. I'm sure they wouldn't hold a candle to these guys either, cracking work!

Loving the Terminators, the painting is very good

Love the hazard stripes.

Can't add much to the discussion that hasn't already been said, but those are some excellent looking models. The buyer is lucky indeed!
