Probably work

So to celebrate finally getting an update (for better or worse), I'm planning on making my GK look pretty, and I want to get some resin bases, but I'm working with about 30 GKPA and 15 GKT that are all pewter. What's the easiest way to attach these guys onto a resin base? I've not seen many 3rd party slotta bases. I'm sure there is an obvious solution just staring me in the face, but I don't see it.

I would cut the tab off of the model's feet then use the greenstuff+ superglue combo to stick them to the bases.

That should work. If not then you could also cut the tab into a sharp triangle right below the feet, cut holes in your bases and slip them in with glue+green stuff.

I'd say cutting off the tabs and then pinning them in would be your best bet, and a helluva lot stronger than just superglue and/or GS (which isn't really an adhesive). That's purely an educated guess though.

Yeah, that's along the lines of what I was thinking too. I was just hoping there would be an easier way.

Yup
This is what I have started doing.
Can be tricky drilling some feet depending on angles and pose etc, but it seems to work so this will be my method untill someone shows me better.

Cut the tab off.
Pin them to the bases.

I've got justicars pinned to the base through their toes (point of contact).

Most of the rest have a nice solid foot to attach with though.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).

Stongest way would be to Put small magnets in the feet and have on on the opposing underside of the base.

Cut the tab off, drill in both feet and match onto the base, would be a lot stronger then super glue for many purposes,

If you ever wanna re base, ease of storage, etc if they fall they wont harm the base..

Automatically Appended Next Post:
And you could have a different variety of bases if you wished.
