I am sorry but I just have to express how cool I think this model is! I know its forgeworld, but it still has got to be one the coolest GW models I've ever seen! The lightening claw is incredible and the flamer looks very cool too IMHO. Does anyone else have a thing for this mini?!
Anyone else have favorite models that blow them away?!
That monster is absoloutly beautiful and incredible

Termie Chaplain is one of the best GW models out there IMO. I'd only put Incubi above them, or at least on par.

"They are not your worst nightmare; they are your every nightmare."
"Let the galaxy burn!"
The last of my favourite three models is the only one of the three that I don't have yet, the Forgeworld Avatar. I'll get one when I feel like I have the skill to properly paint something like that.

He's too pretty to be a good badass model. Head similar to the one from Field Gen's model would make it better IMHO. Otherwise model is cool.
I think that's actually part of what I like about it. He's not the stereotypical hardened scar-faced baldheaded psychopath looking marine. He actually looks a little bit more like a human.
Whether that is actually appropriate for a space marine is a different issue
I really like the Huron model. He looks like a chapter master, without being stupidly overdone like Calgar and Dante.

Second this one. I'd buy one if I had the money.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.
When I'm editing alot, you know I have a gakload of homework to (not) do.
The only reason I didnt second the Chaplain was because he puts my own to shame

I have to agree whole-heartedly with the sentiments expressed here. This model by forgeworld is probably one of the most proportionally correct figures made for 40k in 28mm. I think this is also why so many people are drawn to this figure, or any of the Forge World figs for that matter.
I also agree that this model too, is a great example of Forge World at their best. I like the use of the 'third dimension' and depth in this figure. So many figures seem 'flat' in comparison.

While I don't particularly care for these guys, they did a great how-to video build on the heirophant. It doesn't look too bad if you take your time with it.

Agree 100%, hands down my favorite.

Fourth-ing the Space Marine Chaplain. But possibly Lemartes as opposed to the more common Terminator armored variant above, since Lemartes is more finely detailed and harder to paint.
he doesn't look awesome, he's really not all that cool. in fact, he's kinda cliche.
but...
fethin' hell! he's modular, and that makes him uber cool in my eyes. I think any model that can be armed slightly differently and become an entirely new model must be awesome.
