Just come across this, absolutely superb work. On the battlesuits launching the missile have you thought of a slight smoke darkened effecton the armour from the rear of the launchers?

Great conversion for the prone pathfinder... Did you consider using a SM bike for the base, or would it have been too big?

Any Rail gunner snipers?

I've been watching this for a while and love the work you do. The white is so clean, and looks great amongst the foliage.

That being said, the reporter objective is bloody brilliant. Great idea, and great execution, it seems so obvious (not to downplay it at all) in a wargame but I've never seen anything like it before. It may be shamelessly stolen the next time I do an army worthy of it (I'm not sure orks would really care). Can't wait to see a complete army shot, keep it up.

Thats got to have been one of the best WD short stories back in the day when they used a small type font and actually wrote decent length stories. Although I really would have liked to see the cameraman done as well. Great Job on him!

That shrine is brilliant, I can imagine you painting the ethereal as if he were a holographic image produced by the base. If I had an ethereal model I'd totally steal that idea.

Not sure how interested you guys are in list building, but to me it is a bunch of fun.
Unfortunately due to the time that painting and converting to this level of quality requires I have only squeezed in about 10 games in the last year. The list i'm taking to Fields of Blood [The New Zealand Grand Tournament] is not as refined as I would like. Also in the interests of actually finishing 1750pts I have taken made some concessions.
The Nicassar were the first to go, they will make an appearance in the 2000pt list.
Also I would much prefer a third Heatwave, but went with a crappy Marker Drone. [30pts for a single BS3 Markerlight - Ewww] It was originally tagged to a Fire Warrior Shas'ui but was transfered across to the Fireknife Team Leader for mobility.

So here is the list, feel free to poke holes in it or offer praise for wonderful selections. I would appreciate any insight from Tau players as to gameplay tips - The list is locked in, so no changes.

Yep, WD aint what it used to be... glorified catalog now. I remember the days when Games Designer would say "We changed such and such in the new codex due to... and they would actually explain their thinking and processes. Now it is "OMG this is the bestest codex ever, here is how perfect this army is!!! Buy it today!!!! Pleases!!!!!"

Okay, Okay, will do at the tourney, Haven't finished the Naga or the last of the Fire warriors yet. I'll upload a pic of the finished Spy Drone and Platoon Obj in the next day or so.

That was the original intent. Paint him all glowy like a Hologram, but time has forced me to paint him as a muted bronze statue.

Yeah, I ordered Craters + the Tactical Backpack about a month ago, but they only just got it in stock and sent on the 4th. Im hoping that it arrives before the 17th.
