Hey Lads,

I've been engrossed by Dechala Lilac ever since it dropped and have been looking for any excuse to use it.

Tried it with Tyranids;

Then Dark Eldar;


Neither seemed to suit.

Finally settled on Craftworlds Eldar;



Its a bear of a colour to use, takes about three layers to get a good opaque finish.

Still experimenting with best process for the paintjob, also not certain about the gold/bronze.

Keen for feedback from y'all

It certainly works well on the Eldar! And it certainly is something different.

It's a very lovely lilac color! Lilac is one of my favorite colors in general, i'd like to see it used more often. I do agree that it looks the best on the eldar, though the tyranid is quite good as well.

Seems to look best on the Tyranid Sirath.

I disagree, I love the lilac Craftsworld Eldar, though the Tyranid is a close second.

Thanks All, The Nid worked okay but ultimately Eldar suit me best. Planning on making a fully flying army with about 40+ jetbikes.

Whoa. That banshee came out looking exceptional! I'm all in on the eldar now, it's a great color for them.

Cheers brother, yep I am stoked with the colour scheme. Still on the fence about how to do the bronze/aged gold... want something pretty and deep but not overly bright and distracting...

Just the blades left to do and some additional touchups.

I've decided to do urban basing as it is very creative but drab enough not to distract from the bright colour scheme. Let me know what you think.

Wow, that banshee exarch looks really good! Her eyes are mesmerizing.

Rangers have been completed. Stoked with the result, just wish I had better/brighter bulbs for my lightbox. What do you guys use?

I converted up his Star Lance last night;

The Eldar are nice and clean (the jet bike maybe too clean? Perhaps some markings would be appropriate?), and your base-work is very inspiring! I really need to make myself some mini barbed wire..

But I think my favorite is the Tyranid! Really effective color combination. Would you mind sharing the paint recipes?
