I would do hand weapons rather than javelins on the "Hounds". And of course get those guys on some round bases!

Great to see you back! Loving the idea of Skinks as 'Hounds', but I have to agree with Aduro, Handweapons would probably make more sense that Javelins.

I like the Javelins, the hand weapons are too small.

The Naga? Combination of Plasticard + Plasma Rifle + IG Grenade Launcher + Pulse Rifle

Thanks, is dont see them as Javelins, bt rather cut-down spears to tie in with the Naga spears.

Glad this thread is continuing. Your work is very, very inspirational. Some of the things you've produced in this thread are things I've never once seen on any tabletop (drone changing to camoflauge, the swamp wading Kroot specifically).

This is one of the best Painting blogs I've ever viewed on dakka. Thank you for sharing such great work.

BTW: where's the group shot in regards to the GT?

The method for the bases is;

Polly Filler spread over a blank base for texture
Once Dry, Use a Pin Vice to drill holes for the Jungle Plants
Paint Scorched Brown
Drybrush Beastial Brown
Drybrush Graveyard Earth
Pin the model to the base
PVA the plants into the holes
Add static grass + clump foliage
Paint Chaos Black around the rim of the base.

I think you should make the head fin a different colour. It would look great if it would stand out. But if you kept the fin the same colour, well that's cool.

Cricket over the summer really halted this army. But i'm back into it.
