Male and female humans look different in the hip region. Male and female Elves look however similar the designer wants them to look...

There are two sexes in the Elven race?

Oh, THAT was your lord choice? We can keep playing if you want, I'm sorry man.

Some idiot a long time ago thought it would be *cool and fluffy!* if DE had a rule that made them Ld check against shooting at the Archon. Stupidest thing I ever heard. And it is not fluffy. DE may be self-serving, but they are far from self destructive. And killing one of their most powerful, influential fighters just brings them a step closer to losing the battle and/or dying. It makes as much sense as Eldar Brightlancing their Farseer in the back.

Their "in-fighting" is between Kabals. The rise to power within a Kabal itself is an extremely subtle affair. The only one who stands to gain from the Archon's death is the Drachon. And DE are not moronic enough to think the battlefield is the place for political gain, except maybe when competing for most slaves captured to gain the Archon's favor. Anybody who assassinates an Archon in the middle of a raid can expect to be fed to the Mandrakes if the Incubi don't turn them to sushi first.

You can't spell 'slaughter' without 'laughter'.
By the time they scream... It's too late.

Inside a pretty, pretty pain cave... won't you come inside?

All "Animosity" type rules are ridiculous. If there's an advantage to it (such as the execution power of Kommissars or the Bosspole beatings of nobz) then fine. Dark Eldar are cunning opportunists, I could see them leaving an Archon to his doom to take power, but not open, clumsy betrayal. They already have the "only one Archon" rule; that's enough.

Trust me, no matter what damage they have the potential to do, single-shot weapons always flatter to deceive in 40k.                                                                                                       Rule #1
