**The Bringer**

Ranun dresses the wound to the best ability, he is no master, but he has learned some healing in his travels.

"You knights of Phobos fight well... but do you think you can hold against attacks like this, for they are sure to be harder in the future..."

**Tyranic Marta**

"What you have seen is only a splinter of their forces, you are right, the attacks will get harder, we will need your help Ranun"

You look around and in the distance you can see the sky black with carrion

The knight turns to you, "They will attack again in at least two days, maybe a little longer"

His face darkens with grief "I have lost many friends today, and many more will be lost before the armies of the Great Necromancer are dead.. please accompany me to the fortress"

**The Bringer**

Ranun walks with Marta to the fortress.

"Are there any others who would aid you?"

Iliad swings the kriss upwards, directing an attack at the warlord's unprotected chin.

(yeah but they can be knocking on the door for an room search so thats why.)

**Tyranic Marta**

(Silentsong) (True true)

(DM) The assassin nods and culs up under the blanket and quickly falls asleep

(Ranun) Marta shakes his head, we are on our own in this, but you have only seen the martial aspect of our prowess, our Clerics could hold this fortress for years against all but the Necromancer himself... None no hoe to defeat him, although im sure it is possible

**Tyranic Marta**

(Iliad) (Im impressed with your choice of weapons by the way, very inventive) Your dagger swoops up but locks with the Ataani's, out of the corner of your eye you can see him swinging his other arm armound holding his Obsidian hatchet

**nocturne's wrath**

i take place in the corner.
i start sleeping.

(Silentsong) You wake in the morning to the sound of the assassins slowdeep breathing in the bed, outside you can hear a massive uproar, women screaming in the distance and the sound of low deep sonorous chants

"I know little of such matters, but no doubt you are correct...," Ranun said...

While on the walk to the fortress, he sung a song he had learned from a druid long ago...

My home is the forest,
It is my joy, my happiness, my peace

I walk through it,
All is but a gentle breeze

(Ranun) (cute XD) (no srsly thats pretty cool) Marta turns to you and in the low voice of the holy chantings begins to loose a singular syllablye of such power that you feel it ripple through the ground beneath you and spread out across the ground, all around you knights and paladins move closer and begin to chant, Marta leading the vocals,

All we have lost, is all we have
All is lost, again and again

Fire on the heights
Water in the depths

Earth beneath us all
Air sustains our breath

But light is everywhere
Banishing the darkness

Knights of Phobos we shall always be

(Yours is pretty awesome

You have a flow in it that I can't quite reach...)

A short period of silence followed the song, while the knights and Ranun dwelled on their own thoughts.

**Tyranic Marta**

(Chrs mate) Marta turns to the knights and bids them head for the fortress, then he turns to you, "I think it is time you recieved a gift from us."

**nocturne's wrath**

i wake the assasin gently.
"wake up sunshine" i smile. "just joking."
"come on now we can get you out. there is an major uproar."
i equip my armour and my weapons.

**Tyranic Marta**

(Silentsong) She gets up quickly, looking around the room, nodding she straightens her clothes and waits for you to finish, "whats the plan?"

**nocturne's wrath**

"we use the rumour to our advantage i walk to the gaurds and destract them you use lightbend and run by." in the mean time you are fully lightbended and we keep contact by using our mindread tactics

**Tyranic Marta**

(silentsong) "Sounds good, thankyou for your help, we will probably meet again, it depends on the whim of the master however, i must go now, before things get worse"

(You do the description again and as before ill tell you if it works)

i equip my armour hiding weapons all over the place.
i then open the door. (lets go.)
she uses lightbend and follows then we walk outside.

**The Bringer**

"I think the honor to fight by your side is indeed a gift enough, but if you desire to give another, I will accept it gladly." Ranun said with a half-smile, the battle wearing off in his mind.

**Tyranic Marta**

(silentsong) the guards nod to you at the end of the corridor, you distract them whilst the assassin slips by, you thank them and carry on, you repeat this as you get closer to the gatehouse, the guards you meet give you news on the fact that the Grand master has been killed, the news is spreading and warriors are scouring the city and the fortress for the killer, the clerics are as of right now trying to decide upon a successor

(Ranun) The knight nods and thanks you, but insists on a gift nonetheless, as the company rides into the fortress he and his personal house of knights dismount and lead you through the corridors, you open out into a massive chamber lined with stained glass windows and pews along the ground, the cathedrals chapel is a massive shrine to Phobos, the ornate golden statue at the far end depicts a tall fair lady surrounded by almost ethereal robes that have been enchanted to emit a faint glow,

(remember this is before the grand master is killed) At the far end of the dias there is a group of white robed men with a taller golden robed man at the front, the men behind him have covered bundles in their arms.

**nocturne's wrath**

i fake a shocked expression.
"how can this be?"

**Tyranic Marta**

(Silentsong) It appears that someone approached the High master Last night on business terms but slaughtered him when he opened the door, he was found dead on his doorway about an hour ago, his body has been taken to the clerics for entombment beneath the cathedral, you are welcome to come to the funeral if you are not on duty, his killer must be foud however and any help you cna give would be appreciated.

"well i cant be of any help in information terms because i just had patrol and after that i went to bed. if i can help with anything else then i will be glad to hear."
i see the assasin slip away in a corridor.

"the guard nods, thats ok i understand your new here, keep your head down and work hard, youll do well, now head to the mess hall and get some food.

"yes sire"i do as commanded but i also look for the little detyails in the fortress. it might come helpfull one day to know all the weaknesses

**Tyranic Marta**

(nocturne) "Im not your superior lad I just think you look like you need some food" You look around the fortress as you head to the mess hall, the passageways seem to be built of a white rock which you have never seen before, but the brackets to light fittings ect and doors are all of wood, a significant design flaw in your opinion, as you keep moving you notice pieces of wall that are sligtly reccesed, you try to push one seristipually but nothing happens, you suspect something is behind them but you would need to experiment more to find out how to open them, as you continue on you realise they are everywhere, you have to look hard to find them but the reccesed panels are everywhere in varying sizes, only the blank white colour of the stone hides them from casual observers.

"well this is fun i think i will go find out what these are."
i go get soem food and after that i walk to the library.
