@Mr. Burning - Those are CrazyKoalas, essentially walking teddybear hugger grenades. The intimidate the hell out of people, but in all essence aren't the most lethal in the world. In their reactive turn, if any enemy activates an order within' their 8" zone they will sprint at the target an explode with DMG 15 Shock.

Never was a fan of Yu Jing models anyways, but it's still a very well-made sculpt. I disagree with the design decisions alone. Infinity's quality has me spoiled.

Nope they were originally developed for YuJing I believe, but they sold them off to the nomads who made them popular.

Wow. This is the first tag that I like, and it's brilliant. Definitely tipping things in favor of a Japanese sectoral list.

Any word on a release date for this T.A.G. ?

Typical proceedures is the unveiling happens around the 15th of the month, preorders start about the 20th, model actually releases the 1st of the following month. So my guess is 8/1 it'll be fully available.

I like it. It's very Infinity, while at the same time still looking a bit different, which fits it being Japanese. I kinda like the homage to Eva, love the weapons and the back fin.

I'm a bit iffy about the legs and waist. It does create the impression of a pregnant robot with baby arms bursting out of its abdomen. Overall I'd give it a 7/10 unaltered, 9/10 for conversion potential.

I would score it 8 for design +1 for size and +1 for the freaky koalas I always wanted for my army... 10

Here's hoping Ariadna gets something big that isn't a damn animal.

Unless the big thing is, in fact, an SAS based TAG with a kilt and half its hull painted blue while wielding a claymore and buckler.

Apparently there is a new SAS model due to be released alongside the O-Yoroi this month, think he has a chain rifle.

As long as the SAS looks like the previous model and doesn't go overboard on the kilt and sword stuff I'll be pleased as something very happy. I'd rather see a USARIADNA(whatever they were called) themed TAG with a big knife and a big cannon.

Any Ariandna T.A.G. would be welcome at this point...

In the Rule book there is a rule called "Archaic TAG" which is a tag that can't be hacked, and on the infinity forums its apparently a rule specifically for Ariadna.

As you can see, it is 'too late' already - and I suspect that we WILL see the Arianda T.A.G. eventually - and if it is armed with multiple autocannons, so much the better!

The thing here is... if Haqqislam, a powerful wealthy nation, has the Maghariba Guard as their only TAG model. An arachnid non-anthropomorfic TAG, that is the best they can field in the battle... What can we expect as the Ariadna TAG?

Because if INFINITY has some design logic, archaic TAG cannot be an anthropomorfic TAG, even not an arachnid robot. It could only be a tank, a cool tank, but nothing with arms or legs.

I want to see a big Ariadna miniature as much as everyone, but I don´t want the aesthetics or design logic of this range to be broken.

I don't think anything can be "broken" at this stage in the games development? CB has intentionally made this game to be something that can evolved.....

Given Ariadna's contact to the main Human Sphere, I think it's perfectly acceptible that Ariadna military forces would desire to be on as even a footing as they could afford with other military powers......and that means buying TAGs.

They may not be the most cutting edge TAGs on the market, but they may equally have mananged to capture or trade for a more sophisticated unit......the possibilities are endless....and to me, that's the beauty of Infinity.

There's been a rumour for several months saying that Corbus Belli might be designing a new TAG model for each faction, and many people expected them to release all of them at the same time. I don't know if this is truth or fake, but this could mean new hi-tech/cooler design TAGs for everyone, and even something bulkier and more "old-school" for Ariadna. Hey, even the fluff in the rulebook says that Ariadnean soldiers are ordered not to damage the enemy equipment for recycling. Looted TAG anyone?
