Since you're always (maybe?) running around with your two fellow Marines who, in the demo at least, always seem to accomplish nothing, it would be nice to Campaign Co-Op with 1 or 2 'real' people!

On Hard they did quite a bit. They stunned enemies quite often, setting you up for Executions and the like.

You split up from them at some point. You go one way while your 2 offsiders go the other.

I know they said their focus was on the single player, but I am surprised they did not open up a three way fight between Marines, Chaos, and Orks (basically playable Orks).

Has there been any word on if Steamworks will be used for the multiplayer? I've been looking through DakkaDakka forums, Steam Forums, and Google, and I haven't gotten a definitive word as to whether or not they'll use Steamworks or Windows Live.

I'm really hoping for Steamworks.

So, just about as limited and disappointing as we feared?

OK, a bit of an exaggeration, yes, but I'm still disappointed about the lack of a co-op campaign option...

While I would like coop campaign, I'm sure I'll get a lot more play out of the horde-ish mode.

I've played through the halo campaigns about once each on coop, but I still play firefight quite a bit.

I'm disappointed by the lack of campaign coop, but this does still sound like a ton of fun. The fact that it's "stages" rather than one match all at once means the games will last longer, but incorporate more of a variety(which is my biggest beef with Reach's "Firefight" mode. You can play an objective mode[Generator Defense; widely acknowledged as stupid and unbalanced as hell] or a kill 'em all mode, but you have to go back to the matchmaking screen in between).

I mean, I'd like campaign coop as well, but admittedly I'd probably only play through it once.

I get a lot more play value out of horde/firefight modes.

Excellant. I would pre order this but I wouldn't be able to collect it withing the alloted 3 days.

But I'm either being an imperial fist or some sort of Inquisition aligned marine. Perhaps my Solar Knights or the Deathwatch if possible.

People who pre-ordered it on Steam can start pre-loading right now!

Gonna spend about three hours getting the colors for my marine chapter just right.

I'm pissed about the lack of Steam support in the UK. Pre ordered off Amazon is the best I can do unfortunately.
