So.. let me get this straight.. BoW got some random dude to do a half-assed effort of tracing over the pics in the codex then tried to pass this off as some giant exclusive event where thousands of people watched for 2 hours straight expecting to see pics of the new models?

list what models you want to bet on, and we wait for release date.

Winner gets all the models we argue about. Loser pays of course.

I dunno, the necron vehicle is something *anyone* could put a fair bet on.

Same thing as the dark eldar flyer.. there was a picture in the codex, which looks 100% like the final model released much later on.

Doesn't take much to look at that sequence of dark eldar releases and extrapolate it on to the Necron 'dex.

Which leaves the only really new, and not-easily-guessed thing as the stormraven conversion, which could have been the result of them being told "conversion to make it have lascannons and punisher cannon on the front, VTOL engines instead of wings" from a genuine source.

I don't doubt the veracity of anything they've said at all, just seems like a bit of a weaksauce end result after they hyped it up like crazy and made it out like they had pics of the new models to show... they did technically have *pics*, so that wasn't a lie either, but anyone who sat through a whole 2 hours of their show can't be too pleased right now.

If it's any consolation I've sat through 2 hours of BoW before, at midnight, during the warpath release where they drank beer out of pee bongs (yes, seriously) and were horribly drunk for 2 hours solid and then the reveal of new info was pretty much jack all since they couldn't stop talking over their guests and going off on random off-topic tangents.

I know its disappointing, but they might be under legal pressure..

Or GW just want them to be naughty tease ( most likely ).
