One of my favorite things about Warhammer Fantasy is coming up with crazy or fun character builds and warriors of chaos have some of the best options.

Ive been playing with fielding this guy in my next game because he seems like a lot of fun

kind of a jack of all trades, hes a good resilient combat character that has decent casting abilities.

I don't have the book in front of me right now, but isn't the conjoined homonculus restricted to Sorcerors only?

Conjoined Homo is Sorc only, unfortunately, as is Third Eye. . Blood of Tizz is also Sorc only, by virtue of being an Arcane item.

Now, the question is whether treating the man as a Level 1 Wizard lets him take items as a sorc. I wouldn't have a problem with it, but one probably has a good argument that you take items/gifts simultaneously, and so can't take one item that requires taking a second to let you. I wouldn't want to have that argument though

I really like Lords with Mot, Disk, Sword of Swift Striking, Shield, and Talisman of 4+ ward, plus something fun (dragon hat or charmed shield). Fairly cheap cruise missile to crush warmachines and skirmishers before slamming into flanks and rears of units.

Another fun option is Khorne Lord on Jugger with Gem of 2+ Ward Vs fire, charmed shield, halberd and Helm of many eyes. Trot him around and shoot him at your opponent's obligatory HPA/Hydra killing unit, and let him mash them all while laughing at damage with his 1+/2++ saves. He will probably even do enough damage to win most combats between lots of attacks and stomps while taking no damage back.

The book makes you a wizard, and chaos wizards are sorcerers (I think that's the logic), allowing you to also take 3rd eye, conjoined and arcane items.

the latest FAQ changes the wording on the book of secrets and specifically says the bearer becomes a level 1 sorcerer (it was a little less clear before) and every sorcer as far as im aware has access to arcane items. and that if you put it on your level 4 sorcerer he now becomes a level one as well.

he's pretty beast and the Sword means Elves and Humans are in danger of dying from one wound.

I really like that build Grey Templar. Very characterful I might have to try him out.
