this is my 1500pts darklight storm, any idea about how to spend the 61 points left?

I truly believe that your HQ choices are your weakest link. You don't need haemonculi because you have no assault elements, but...you're paying 75 points on an Archon to get a blaster....when you could have them elsewhere in your army for cheaper.

Speaking of HQ's, Baron Sathonyx would like a chat with you in private. Having +1 to go first makes this much more deadly...

The only real question is, as Dash noted, the HQ one.

The obvious immediate adjustment is drop one Archon and buy a 2nd Trueborn with Blaster - functionally the same thing but at a huge point savings.

That leaves you with some open points but not a lot of gaps to fill. You could afford to float in Sathy, but with lack of a place to put him you're buying a fairly expensive +1 to first turn.

You could have a smart investment putting a Crucible on the Archon just as a meta tool to use in tournaments. I'd actually need to sit down and crunch some numbers to see exactly how much you have left in order to get more brilliant about where to use those points.

@thor665 is a crucible really worth the 20 points, and i can't put it on an archon sadly.

Derp, you're right on the Archon. (oh for the days when any sarge could equip just about anything)

And, yes, the Crucible is worth 20 points. It eats psykers' minds. What armies have lots of available psykers that they field in competitive lists? IG, Blood Angels, Space Wolves?

Oh yes.

Dracon's with blast pistols is an option, the thing is most of the time you'll waste those points because you shouldn't be getting that close with a shooty Kabal like this. Night Shields might not be a bad investment since you can't have the Baron and we're needing to help protect some of our valuable killing tools by gakking up the opponent's anti-tank. I'm not the biggest believer in N.Shields but they can be useful in some of the early rounds.

An outside the box consideration is contemplating an upgrade of a Ravager to one of the other fliers. Though I personally consider the Ravager better anti-tank than the Bomber I know there are players out there who disagree.

You know, if you took out the archon...and added Baron Sathonyx....you'd have fewer points you're trying to figure out what to do with.

Also, did you know wracks are 3+ units? A unit of 3 wrack. Then again, you'd need a haemonculi to make them a troop choice, but you don't have one of those either.

I don't think that an Arrchon belongs in Darklight Storm.

but dash, what should i do with the baron, reserve and late game contesting?
