@Archmagos_Amadeus- Thanks for the comment! I will be sure to do some hard line highlights on this guy.
Update time:
This is Death Company marine Krixus, named after the gladiator in a show that I am watching called Sparticus (lots of blood and gore and some nudity, check it out if you are ok with stuff like that). But here Krixus is a thunder hammer wielding monster who has succumbed to the black rage.
I have lots of questions regarding the creation of Death Company fluff and if someone knowledgable would like to answer I would be incredibly happy.
1) How do Death Company marines choose their weapons, are they from their previous station? e.g. tactical marines are only allowed bolters, while a captain can choose any form of wargear.
2)What happens to Death Company marines who happen to be fighting at a place where there is no ability to place them in stasis after a battle?
3)How long would a strikeforce of 30 marines have to be fighting before all of them succumb to the black rage? Is there a trigger for the rage or is it entirely random?
If you have answers for these questions then great, if not I will be using this space to try and work everything out from a fluff point of view. With such a small, elite force I think it would be a shame if I didn't prepare some good background! Bring on the comments!
Automatically Appended Next Post: Storm Raven is finished! I decided that this army will be based and modeled after a jungle theme. I want the Storm Raven to look as if it has been used in the jungle with a bunch of blood thirsty Space Marines at the helm!
This post will be extremely picture heavy so you are forewarned.
you can see some of the painted interior here... I feel bad knowing I took so much time to paint it and the inside is just so dark!
better picture of the interior
I was disappointed with this as well, I used extra bits from my
DC sprue and turns out you can barely even see it.
I foresee this model having other death company units rappelling out into this jungle world... Hopefully I can figure out an easy way to make that happen. Bring on the comments!
