Let's say I have 2 combat-squadded purifier units. They both then get charged by 1 30-ork boy mob. Both combat squads then cast Cleansing Flame successfully. How would you resolve this:
1) Sequentially. Resolve one CF first and then the other one afterwards. For example, let's say CF kill off 10 of the 30 ork boys. Then you would resolve the 2nd CF against those 20 orks (and not the original 30 orks).
2) Simultaneously. Resolve both CF at the same time. In this case, both Cleansing Flames would be resolved based on the original 30-model unit.
Thanks.

Sequentially, there is no rule for resolving psychic powers simultaneously. Otherwise you wouldn't be able to recast any power.

7 Ork facts people always get wrong:
Ragnar did not win against Thrakka, but suffered two crushing defeats within a few days of each other.
A lasgun is powerful enough to sever an ork's appendage or head in a single, well aimed shot.
Orks meks have a better understanding of electrics and mechanics than most Tech Priests.
Orks actually do not think that purple makes them harder to see. The joke was made canon by Alex Stewart's Caphias Cain books.
Gharkull Blackfang did not even come close to killing the emperor.
Orks can be corrupted by chaos, but few of them have any interest in what chaos offers.
Orks do not have the power of believe. |

Please correct me if I am wrong, I thought Cleansing Flame took effect at I 10? Maybe I grabbed this bit from somewhere else, I do not have a copy of the codex on hand, can you provide a quick rules snippet that clarifies?

Nah, you should probably either get the codex or just trust people who actually have it. It occurs before any attacks are made either way.

I have a copy at home, I am doing my morning coffee Dakka troll, clarification that it does not occur at an initiative step is enough, for some reason that idea was stuck in my head.

What's a 'morning coffee Dakka troll'?
You were possibly thinking of the BroChamp's "Rapier Strike" stance.

Sequentially. There's no rules support for two units casting powers at the same time. If it was an attack that happened on a fixed Initiative, that'd be different.
