Well, aren't I just the fellow who hates the bandwagon.

When GW gave us Dark Eldar, I made a small Eldar army... now that Grey Knights are all the rage, I've dedicated myself to heresy

Anyhoo, I'm excited and eager (despite the crushing presence of exams) to get to work on some fairly cheap units I've secured... Totalling a 1500 point entirely Nurgle-centric list.

Even if the daemons are bland in Codex: CSM.

Ah I see what the op means.

I picked up a hybrid mech/biker iron hands spaz marines force around christmas. mainly to be as fast as I could and run something interesting.

I've contemplated picking up my tallan imperial guard when the tau codex gets re-done.

I've been looking at an eldar army for some time.

In fantasy, I've been wanting to make a foot soldier based Britannia force, with minimum calvary.

I mean I have tau, orks, CSM and vanillia iron hands. Not exactly the most up to date books, yet I still can't seem to paint everything, hahahha

Any thoughts on this as a colour scheme for the non-Death Guard marines?

Sorry, it's not showing up, so can't comment.

I'm starting up an Eldar army and thinking of Tau and Necs, so yeah, I go for underdogs.

Excellent.

I may rid myself of my SM someday and then be able to say wholeheartedly (barring my IG) that none of my armies are "default" choices

Absolutely.

The "Orks suck" mentality made me start taking them to tournaments. After suitably dominating, I retired them for Dark Eldar (the old ones) because no one brought them to tournaments. And now that they have suitably dominated, I'm using Necrons. Presuming they get a new codex in 6 months or so, I'm not sure what to turn to next....I can't think of a bigger underdog than Necrons.

Certainly, hell, here's an awful pic (my camera likes to make my models look pink) of my first Chaos model:

Witch Hunters? I've never even seen them...

Though I have been told that they are competitive at times.

But a good constraint is to be a fluff nazi; the reason that my army is going to be a mix of renegades and Death Guard is because the DG don't have any non-possessed/non-Nurglite-commanded vehicles...

And walking slowly towards the enemy with a 100% Plague Marine army (there are no non-PMs in the DG) doesn't sound competitive to me.

I don't know how you feel about irony but if you start playing SW in a year or 2...

OT:Nice work on the Nurgle fellow.
