Greetings,
I have a tourney at a local shop tomorrow and I'm thinking about running the below army. At the moment I'm still debating on dropping the termies and power fist on the csm for a Greater Demon and 1 plague. Also not sure if running a single lash would be worth it.
I played a list similar to the one below last month and went undefeated (both DPs were warptime last week). Looking for some constructive criticism, thanks.

Princes: Nurgle tough and slanesh shenannigans is an ok combo.
Plague squads are fine ... I don't think the icon is really necessary as the oblits and terms are probably dropping in further back than the nurgles anyway for side and rear shots.
csm: a bit small, illegal = you can only have one special in a squad that is less than ten. I think 8 is more of a happy number for CSM squads.
Oblits: always fun when lash is around.
Defiler: Not so great by itself .. dies easily as it is the only thing worth focusing anti tank fire on. Better in multiples.
Last Rhino entry -- looks like it is just denoting the squad rhinos build? If thats the case I suggest keep em cheap with no upgrades ... but combi weapons arnt bad if you had unspent points ... however more bodies woudl probably be more useful. As far as I know you can't buy a single rhino by itself.
Overall : WAY low model count, and anyone that stops your Rhinos wins the game as 6 man marine squads footslogging it wont threaten anything in the game with their shooting or assault capabilities. It kind of seems like you have over compensated for anti tank (oblits, termicide, meltas on PM, 3 MC/Dread).
Back when I ran the semi rhino rush list with chaos I ran two DP similar to yours, 3 8 man csm squads with fist champ, melta gun, and naked rhino and:
Either:
LR with assault terms(slaanesh, LC 1 with combi melta and chainfist),
or
2 cult squads in naked rhinos, usually 8 zerkers with champ fist and 7 nm with sonic blasters and a champ with champ fist and doom siren.
However, those lists stopped being effective about the time the newer 5th ed codex started. Blood angles and space wolves, and even regular marines just put more bodies, more and bettere weapons, and more special rules on the table than choas for similar point levels.
Your list : 25 models, 4 vehicles
My old list: 31 models + 4 vehicles( lR and terms)
42 models + 5 vehicles (zerkers and NM)
I think if I were to run a list now I'd try to spam lots of rhinos and small 5 man squads, and use chosen and havocs to get lots of special weapons like melta, plasma, and flamers on the table. I'd probably stick with the demon princes, as with many rhinos on the table for cover they can hide pretty well as they jump to the fray. But thats just of f the ttop of my head ... I havnt really considered it lately. The chaos codex suffers from over priced everything ... just like most of the other older books.
Regardless, good luck, and kudos for sticking with it!

Lash isn't as effective as it use to be with mech, you need to pop transports to actually start lashing. It also looks like your dabbling in lash with only one and 2 Oblits (and the defiler). Nearly every lash army I have seen is 6-9 Oblits and two lashes. Either do it or don't.
Yeah, ditch the terminators (and thus the Icons). Greater demons are not worth the cost + the champ you sacrifice. Your either throwing away a HQ or a champ with a icon, fist, and a combi. Not worth it.
Your CSM squad is indeed illegal and not worth it to upgrade to 10 to get two flamers when they could be another Plague squad.
Another thing, remember your Rhino's have only 1 fire point, since your list is a touch scetchy. It isn't a bad thing, as they can still get combi weapons. If you have the points, get a combi-melta. If not, more troops.
I agree on the defiler on it's own, but I am not a fan of them personally. I would rather have Havocs or Oblits. Best build I have seen for a Defiler is the CCW version due to the Defiler moving where it can only fire one weapon a turn. I have seen a AC added just because most people choose the Battle cannon for weapon destroyed, just to keep up a shooting ability. Thus, ditch the havoc at least.
To be frank, Plague marines are awesome plasma gunners due to FNP. I would replace that CSM squad with a Plasma Plague marine squad. I personally say stick with the Champ and a PF with each squad, but you may be happier with 7 man squads.
Heavys...
Lash= 2 x2 or 2 x3 Oblits and a x5 Havoc squad (3 AC, 1 ML & IoCG). Or 3 x2 or 3 x3 Oblits.
non-lash= 1 x2 Oblits and 2 Defilers. 2 x2 Oblits, Havoc (as above) or 2 defilers and a Havoc squad (as above). You choose what you can afford.
Good luck and hope this gives you something to think about.

I forgot about the CSMs needing to be at 10. I typically only run cult. The rhino at the bottom was to note its gear.
I mainly wanted to try lash out to move people off of objectives on the last turn. Not for the gimmick with templates. Oddly though, many people in my area do not run mounted armies.
However, I'm leaning towards moving him back to warptime because he is more likely to be in or finishing an assault.
@Mephistoles
I like the idea of running 5 man squads, target saturation is something I love to do.
The model count is still low, apart from dropping a squad to fill the others, not much I could do.

I honestly feel that is a far better list. I like the Oblits spread out for leadership reasons and for more target selections. I like the DPs and the Plagues.
Only thing I can see people split hairs on are the Noise marines with some saying ditch the Doom Siren for 2 more marines for a total of 7 marines.
You really do not want to be in melee with a 5 man unit either. So if you could drop the champ (if you already dropped the Siren) and the Sword for another Marine and 2 more Blasters for a 8 man squad with 4 Blasters.
Again, remember Chaos Rhinos only have 1 fire point. That might make you want to keep the Siren but then ditch a blaster and the sword for 1 more guy.
Your choice, but it still looks like a good list either way. Good luck!
