Trying to be competitive with a Crowe Based army. Overall scheme is Tank Flank with Riflemen playing safety. Aiming to throw Castellan with the Falchion Purifiers as my primary CC squad. C&C welcome

Not a bad list.
One issue here is the usage of the Razorbacks. Do you plan to keep the Purifiers inside (and so non-shooting) or use the transport to give cover?

*sigh* everyone is building these lists now, soon the whole of 40K will be SW Grey hunter Long fang spam vs GK Purifier spam.

Firstly why all the psycannons in units inside Razorbacks that can't fire out? I'd consider dropping those to Rhinos.

Seondly Crowe can't join any unit so won't be with the Falchion squad.

Other than that I quite like it. I'd consider a 3rd Psyfleman dread. But it looks pretty solid over all.

In fact, Rhinos would serve the Purifiers better. And the 3rd Dread is almost mandatory.

It's not like we have seen it before. Needless to say its a solid list.
Good thing I wont see it where I play, as we generally hate web standard armies.
Best thing is, I don't think I'll ever see it in Sweden. As we have composition points in our tournaments. Atm purfiers as troops give alot of minus. And this list on the edge of being illegal to enter tournaments (due to the amount of purifiers as troops).
But in the end, everyone has their right to post their amy lists.

Main reason for wanting to go Razorbacks is the ability for the razorbacks to soak fire after they drop off cargo. Rhinos become limp noodles on the threat meter. Razorbacks running around with 4 S7 Rending shots are going to attract fire away from the shorties. But if I do pull the Rbacks, that is another PsyRifleman dread so I suppose I'll end up PT both variations and see which inevitably works better.

Just so I have clarification, why can I not have Crowe join a squad during deployment? I might be blind but I literally can't find what negates that ability for him.

Crowe is not an Independent Character. Read his rules again - he lacks the Independent Character special rule, and thus cannot join any unit. This is due to fluff reasons, because he carries a cursed Daemon Blade so powerful that it could corrupt his battle brothers, and so he stays away from them. He is the only one so purely incorruptible that he can control the blade, and he does not use its power. All of his special abilities are because he is just that damn good with a sword.

Personally I think the Razorbacks are the better buy. 2x Dreads should be OK for ranged anti-tank, and a Razorback is a gunboat. Think about it. On the first turn, your Rhinos are going to move forward 12" and pop smoke, then move 6" for the Purifiers to fire. Razorbacks are going to do the same thing, except that after it moves 6", the Purifiers will disembark and everything shoots, which you can't do with the Rhinos.

As-is the list has 8 Psycannons and 3x TL Psycannons (Psybolt AC's) along with essentially 8 TL Missiles. You trade 12 TL S7 Rending shots for 4 TL s8 shots and one more vehicle, which I don't see as a very good trade.

That said, the Flachion unit is kinda dumb. For the same price you can get another squad outfitted like the rest, which is a much better idea, especially considering the issue with Crowe joining units.

Leave the list the way it is and ditch the Falchions for Psycannons and Halberds.
