Been looking through some of the rulebooks, but haven't been able to find any information thus far. An opponent says that he can destroy terrain features with a strength D weapon, but I am unable to find any particulars on this matter. Any help pointing me to the correct rulebook would be appreciated. Thanks,
V

I know some weapons can, but I might be thinking only in Cities of Death.

The golden rule, if you ask an opponent to show the rule and they can't: they are either mistaken or cheating.

Strength D does nothing to terrain in Apocalypse

ONLY vortex weapons, or special formation such as the Linebreaker formation, can remove / alter terrain features.

There are some D weapons which also destroy terrain, but the two abilities are not directly connected.

7 Ork facts people always get wrong:
Ragnar did not win against Thrakka, but suffered two crushing defeats within a few days of each other.
A lasgun is powerful enough to sever an ork's appendage or head in a single, well aimed shot.
Orks meks have a better understanding of electrics and mechanics than most Tech Priests.
Orks actually do not think that purple makes them harder to see. The joke was made canon by Alex Stewart's Caphias Cain books.
Gharkull Blackfang did not even come close to killing the emperor.
Orks can be corrupted by chaos, but few of them have any interest in what chaos offers.

Does ignore covers. Some special formations can such as 'line breaker' (3+ vindicators). I think they count as destroyer also but i can't be certain. was he using somethign like that?

Strength D does ignore cover, however it doesn't destroy terrain unless it specifically says so. However, if you're using the buildings rules, then strength D can most definitely destroy them.
