Alright, so after finishing my first DE warrior, I want to see what other peoples DE look like.

This is my first warrior from the "Kabal of the Screaming Dragon". Sorry for the quality, the Ipod Camera is difficult...

I do the kabal of blackheart colors but I dont use the kabal symbol because I think it looks silly.

No I managed to trade, beg, borrow and buy a lot of the reaver heads (got another 12 or so to build more trueborn).

I like those reaver head guys. Hopefully I will be able to post another finished model soon. Anyone else have a kabal for sharing?

I must say that bright red and bright green are not an easy color scheme to pull off. But you nailed it without a doubt.

The Scarab Prince Corsairs. While a kabalite force and hierarchy, they are exiled from Commorragh. Their fleet numbers 22 ships, not all are dark eldar in origin with the majority being stolen craftworld vessels. They originally hail from Shaa-dom before it's destruction.

liche purple with goblin green highlights (Kabal of the Poisoned Vine) no i didnt copy that name from ph34r ive actually been thinking about this or scab red with gradual white or ice blue highlights (Kabal of the Frozen Blood)

Yeah my friends and I were trying to decide on a scheme so we could all base our armies the same, but with GWs new fiasco I don't know if I want to continue playing any more. Maybe I'll just find a different line of miniatures I can use with GW rules (since I like playing with my friends).

There are seven thin layers to the concoction. it's a signature bone thing I came up with through many attempts. I undercoated by hand with chaos black, then used a foundation paint, dheneb stone (not sure of the spelling) then bleached bone, a heavy wash of gryphone sepia then bleached bone highlights through to skull white. Then you use badab black wash very sparingly in the tight spots between the armour plating.

You can in fact paint it from a white undercoat but it makes the bone a lot lighter and less gritty. This cancels out the dheneb stone step.

These instructions are on my P&M in my signature as well as instructions on how to do vehicles the same way.

@Keezus - Heh 3ed, there's nothing wrong with that, I wish I would've held onto mine. Nice paint too

You know i have to say i hated, and i mean hated the old dark eldar models, i think they were the worst thing to come out of GW but with these new ones i'm definitely investing in an army. I really like those heads that are covered with the smooth helmet, gonna make some of those with a mold kit. My army will be the kabal of the red headed step children.
