The most current group shot (4/2/13)...

Just wanted start with a doodle I did while I was suppose to be studying. Hopefully now that finals are out of the way, I'll have a chance to get to business and start doing something with this army. I don't have much to show off so far, but I figured I'd throw up what I've got and try and show you guys the direction I'd like to be heading. I am eager for constructive criticism and tips, but please keep in mind that most these are works in progress. I apologize for the poor quality of some of the pictures....

This entire army is likely to be converted, because I have really been inspired by the work I have seen over on Chaos Dwarf Online. http://www.chaos-dwarfs.com/index.php
Big thanks to all of you!. The other reason for this, is the fact that I work as an Instructional assistant, am a college student, and care for a one year old. All this is to say, my hobby budget is pretty shallow. Enough with the jibber jabber already...

This is my very first, and perhaps my best conversion for this army so far. I'm really looking forward to using what I've learned on the next characters.

My wife played with the lighting, and made him look really EVIL!!!!

I've been sculpting beards and funnels for the blunderbuss out of putty, and slapping on faces from various WOC bits.

I'm working on an earth shaker (on the left) and a death rocket (on the right). You probably recognize all the components, chap stick tube, tops from water bottles, and the defilers battle cannon.

You guys may have seen this already...
Kollosus Concept Discussion Thread:

The image in my head is that of a Civil War era Iron Clad and a Mumak having an angry love child. This thing needs so much work....

Thanks for looking at my pig pile of mess! I'm new to this so I'd love to hear your thoughts on making it better. I'll be taking these guys to my first tournament ever this weekend, so keep an eye out for battle reports. I could really use some help with the Army list. It's called the clash for the cure. I did a drawing that they ended up making into T-shirts, hats and stickers. Spoiler Alert: I doubt I'll win a single game.

Alright, I've not been doing much modeling or painting, but I have done a little bit, and I thought I'd throw up a shot of something I'm "working on" in between the rest of life.

You guys met Dwarf Vader. He's counts as a Prophet of Hashut and here are his storm troopers, complete with AT-ST unit filler! They need white highlights to build them back up to the level of brightness they should have. They will count as a horde of 30x fire glaives or blunderbuss. I have yet to play test and see what I prefer....

I'm just starting w/ this unit, but I'd love to hear your thoughts!

I haven't updated in along time, but I've so snapped a few shots with my phone because I'm pretty excited about getting back into things. When i find the camera I'll have plenty post. Stay tuned

Some fan art inspired by the Tamurkaun book

Blunderbuss....

And an Iron demon conversion (Island of Sodor Pattern)...

Here comes an update with much better pictures

First, the Group Shot:

Dwarf Vader (Sorcerer Prophet)

With his Infernal "Storm Trooper" Guard (count as fire glaives)

AT/ST unit filler

Demon Smith (Just got a few base colors so far). This model was converted from a Battle for skull pass dwarf. I sculpted the beard, armored skirt, added tusks, and a thunderhammer.

The Infernal Guard with Blunderbuss conversions. First row's almost done. This random beholder from reaper should be a sweet unit filler when I get around to it.

This pink battle standard bearer was painted to use in a local event called Clash for the cure.

This unit of Bull Centaur renders is getting a little bit of conversion work. I think the broken horns look diesel.

Speaking of diesel, here's my Iron demon conversion. I'll take it as a skull cracker, cause we need skulls cracked. Yeah, it's a thomas the train toy and this amuses me deeply.

My "Hell Cannon" needs a lot of work, its a plasma bug from stormship troopers. It's big, but I intend to cut the legs a bit and angle it so it fits on the base better and has a more dramatic "shooting crap out of its ass" pose.

That's it for now, I hope to have more to share again sometime soon. Thanks for looking, and constructive criticism is always welcome.
