Has anyone else had issues trying to get these together? I am trying to get the top piece on to the lower half, but I think the upper intake thingy is keeping the halves from meeting in the middle, there is a huge gap that forms on the join. Can anyone provide some insight, and maybe some pics to help? I have two of these things to build, and I feel like seeing how well they fly...

It is apparently traditional to use elastic bands to force the land speeder hull to mate properly. Having put one together recently I also know there are a bunch of different fiddly bits that can easily be mis-aligned. Have you checked that everything is the right way round?

The Land Speeder is a fether to build. It used to be worse, but somehow when they recut the kit, they didn't fix it.
Lots of elastic bands to hold the hull together while it's drying is traditional.

Can anyone provide any good pics of green stuffing on that critical hull joint? Did you all do any trimming on the interior pieces to try and minimize the gappage?

Land Speeders are my least favorite model to put together..
Rubber bands work wonders though.
