Like it says up top, GW is going to want to sell their 25% more expensive Finecast Models and one way to that is to make indepsensible special characters for us.

SO what would we actually like to see? Either in fluff terms or in rules terms?

On the fluff side...

I'd love to see Einsenhorn get rules, ideally 3 sets of rules for his early, middle and late (heretic) careers, with Cherubael as a proper Daemon Host available for his late career.

I'd also like to see Gaunt and some of the Ghosts back with rules.

For rules...

How about Brother Captain Makes-Devistator-Squads-Troops? I'm an American, yeah for use knights in armor have their place but in our culture guns are where it's at. But there's still 3 or 4 assault-heavy marine armies but no real shooty ones. Brother Captain Makes-Devistator-Squads-Troops would go some way towards fixing that, and in fluff there are supposed to be full dev companies out there. Maybe Brother Captain Makes-Devistator-Squads-Troops would not allow you to take tactical squads?

Similarly Brother Captain Makes-Vets-And-Termis-Troops is long overdue. Yeah, yeah, Deathwing, but let me tell you, the Deathwing have sucked since 2nd edition and I don't see that changing. A first company Captain who lets you take all the vet and termi variants as troops but bars all other marines (tacs, scouts, devs, assault) would be really popular.

IG Champions - Yeah we all love Sly Marbo, but surely there are other great guardsmen out there. How about adding a legendary sniper, a deadly swordsman, a gunslinger and other military archetypes? How about 1 legend per regiment? The Cadians have the vet Sgt who can also give orders, so how about a Vostrian big strong dude they call the 'The Bear', a Valhallan sniper, a Tallarn raider etc...

It would be nice to see that...
A Praetorian Legend wouldn't go amiss either...

In fluff terms I would love to see:

Little Horus Aximand

Erebus

Talos "soul hunter"

Lord commander Eidolon

The overfiend of octavius

The arch-arsonist of chardon (maybe he could make burnas troops)

And for rules I would like to see:

A word bearer that makes possesed troops

An ork that makes flash gitz troops

How about IG character that makes CRASSUS ARMOURED ASSAULT TRANSPORTs troops?

On a more serious note:
The Arch-Arsonist would be awesome.
They could also release legion specifics conversion packs for any legion that doesn't have a model.

Word bearers would be a good conversion set, lots of books and things.

Alpha legion would be cool aswell, they could make space marine bodies, legs, arms and heads with scales sculpted onto them.

Rules wise? Make furies able to asault the turn they arrive. I could forgive the ugly ass models, or the terrible stats and price if it means I can take the heat off my army for a turn or two.

I wouldn't mind seeing Tuska Da Daemon-Killa as a model, that would be pretty sweet ( imagine him to be a warboss armed with khornate weaponry + armour scraps, covered in bits of bloodletters etc)

Also, bring back some of the other orks, Nazdreg (big mek special character)

Would also like to see a return of the LotD seargent centurius, I think they could really go to town on that guy.

I would love a mercenary box set where you can make a customized galactic warrior.

i wouldn't mind some of the characters from the histories. I like the idea of IG legends. they kind of touch on this with Bastonne i think and his own order but it would be nice to see other guys with other special rules that are relevant to their roles.

I would love to see a Space Marine CHaracter design setup where you can not only choose wargear but add special rules etc to help me build a characterful army around a character that i myself have made.
