OK so in this thread this were we post our rediculous rumors about the GW's big 3 games (40K, Fantasy, LOTR). Remember these are all false and just for fun so no one should take them seriously. Here are some already posted ones:

I heard that with the new release of "finecast" GW is acually going Bankrupt because they gave away all of the old metal models to 3rd world countries and invested so much into the new process and materials only to find out that they cause cancer and have already been sued by most of thier staff who had contact with finecast!

...the new dwarf army book will use the lore of the runes, similar to other races, and there will be only 8 magic items.
GW will describe thyis as a fresh new take on the army.....

The "Dice Rolling" book wasn't actually an April fool, but so many people laughed they had to scrap what was about to be their biggest ever publication and the price increase has been made to cover the massive losses.

All of the Space Marine's are going to be recombined in a single 1,600 page long codex. The laser etched, gold embossed cover will show a Space Marine kicking each and every xeno in the face. The Space Marine Codex will come mounted on its own wheeled podium, and a laser that will light any Xenos codex within 2d6 meters on fire (cover saves apply to avoid damage).

I heard that GW will be making the CRASSUS ARMOURED ASSAULT TRANSPORT a mandatory dedicated transport for all units in the game, including Apocalypse.

40k will become affordable.

Golden Daemon (TM) is to be taken in a bold new direction. Starting at the next Games Day (TM) where you can get your fix of Games Workshop Hobby (TM), Golden Daemon (TM) painting competition is to have sportsmanship added as part of the judging.

The following simple guide has been released by the judges of Golden Daemon (TM)
1: At least 10% of the model is unpainted, the more the higher the points. A totally unpainted model will score maximum points.
2: Everyone loves buying expensive Citadel Finecast (TM) models and now is your chance! No model costing less than 10 pounds may be entered in the single miniature category.
3: All painting must be done with one arm tied behind your back, a video of the entire painting process must be provided.
4: Due to the change from metal to Citadel Finecast (TM) resin for trophies and the Slayer Sword (TM) which in itself means that they will now be made at 1/10th the cost, winners will now have to purchase the trophies/ Slayer Sword (TM). If they cannot afford it, then it is offered to the next person down the list. Australian Golden Daemon players will be made to pay 40% higher, and they may not enter the European or US Golden Daemon (TM) competitions.
5: There will be no losers in Golden Daemon (TM), everyone who enters gets a FREE 20mm Warhammer Fantasy Battle (TM) slottabase (TM)
