About 45 minutes to kick off... I gather Puyol is out injured so Mascherano is filling in for him ..? Could be a chink there then.

Overall though I think whilst there's perhaps not that much difference between the two teams forwards and defense I do think that the Barca midfield is better than the Mancs. one and I think that might well tell.

So... I'm going to go for 2-1 to Barca.

Should be a good game though and both sides have players who are quite capable of suddenly performing that moment of magic ( or madness) that turns a game.

Barca is probably gonna win though i won't speculate on the score.
However, the Mancs. have pulled off some pretty crazy wins in the past so i won't call it yet.

Was meant to be my day off tonight, but had to come in as of yesterday.. boo.

So other than the fact I'm forced to miss it on the TV, I'm going to say Manchester, just because I won't be there to see it.
Just to round off a bizarre couple of weeks I'll even suggest Giggs will score the winner.

How do folks like those odds.

I personally don't have a huge problem with Man.U like most of the English people who wanted Barca to win. But I really like Barcelona, there my 'second team'

As a true red, I can say that we were beaten by the better team. We made too many mistakes and errors; regularly giving the ball away to a side known for ruthless passing and possession being just one; and we were out-played for the entire match bar the opening 10 minutes.

Too many gaps in our lines and the fluidity of Barca killed us, although it's not hard to see how they're considered the best club side in the world at the moment; I can see clubs battling to grab the likes of Messi as a coach should he decide to go that route when he retires, although it's likely he'll stay on at Barca even in that role.

That's not to say that Barca weren't flawed, a few glaring mistakes during the first half could left them trailing early, and a few opportunities could've seen them 2 or 3 in front before half-time.

Overall though, it was a great match for the first 70 or so minutes.

Barcelona tore Man U a new arsehole....

Kind of puts the Barca - Arsenal tie in perspective really.

If Michael Carrick can get a game for Utd, then I should too. And I have a broken knee.

Same here. I've been there twice now, love the city and love the stadium.

Yup kind of what I expected. Barcelona is hands down the best soccer team in the world.

Yeah my prediction couldn't have been more wrong, Giggs obviously had a lot on his mind, his wife's angry glare at the back of his skull for one.

Barca deserved the win, and nice to see them win clean, apart from one moment early on by Ineista, it didn't feel they where looking for a red at all.
