Most ken loach films are like that, unless i have mixed up the director he did a good film about a man from Liverpool going to fight in the Spanish civil war, its a really interesting film if you watch it with the subtitles , without its horribly confusing when they discuss the benefits of communism.
Its a genuine Yorkshire tale that is, its hard enough to get all the words if English.

It was set and filmed in the then mining town of Barnsley in South Yorkshire.
There will be many a southern softy who can't understand the dialogue!
