titan knights are the missing link between titans and regular walkers.
they carry heavier weapons than your average walker but not the superheavy weapons of a titan.
there armour is lighter than a titans but heavier than a walkers.
they have sheilds but cannot regenerate them like titans.
they are the titan knights and they are your worst knightmare

Why Initiative 5? Even Warhounds are I1, something like this should be I3 at the very most. And also, the WS and BS levels are a bit extreme, they would only be 4 for something like this.

I dont think you included a base strength. Well It seems like you're quite similar to other people ideas. I still dont know whether fast walkers exist. Since the Autocannons/Heavy Bolters actually reduce points, perhaps have that as the default equipment? I dont think I know any 40k entry that actually reduce points besides removing jump packs. 450 also seems very pricey for something that can get dark lanced or meltagunned to death

I think this is better for a 450 point value.

Knights are not Titans.

You appear to have spelt ordnance wrong

/pedant

My apologies for that.

Most walkers have less armour than that Sicksix indicates, perhaps 13/13/11 with added structure points say 1 or 2. Certainly the rear should be less armoured.

IIRC from the original Epic WD article Knights also held conversion/refractor field tech and were armed with an electric discharge generator (short range defence weapon) for repelling carnosaur attacks. Not sure what for that would take but it might be a nice touch back to the original intent.

Not sure what this would do to the cost though?

That would make it pretty much invincible though especially in CC

Warhound Titans are much bigger than a Knight (not)Titan and have less armor than that. I agree that 13 as front should be sufficient, not sure about rest

Interesting stuff, unsure about the electro hull defense, I10 and str 8 has the potential to devastate most normal squads before they even get to strike.
Should non dedicated CC squads be able to swamp a Knight? Some may say no, I persoanlly would say yes hence
I'd amend that to maybe str5, maybe str6.

Unsure of the points for the upgrades too. Seems quite cheap to get a serious stats/abilities increase. e.g 20 ponts to veteran means its hitting on 2s, will strike first vs most units and has PE, allowing some serious rerolls.

Infact the upgrade abilities seem a little OTT in general.
I'll need to have a think about alternatives.

I'd amend the rear armor to 10 aswell.

I'd reduce the A to 3 aswell, 5 on the charge for a walker is a lot imho.

Well the best way for the Electro-Hull thing would be something along the lines of the following: "Any model in base contact of the Knight suffers an automatic wound on a 4+ before any blows are struck."

RE the electro hull, the electrical discharge I refered to was actually the equivelent of a pie plate extending from the base in Epic. Not sure if that is of any use?

In this contact or in the use you suggest it should be S4 max. In fluff terms it was only meant to drive off agrssive carnosaurs not kill everything with extreme prejudice!

You realise Mr Ordinance, that assuming you're referring to explosive munitions, your name is spelt wrong? (ordnance) Just checking...

Also, as others have said, Knights are not titans.

not yet sos. im converting 1 out of an old gundam kit i had lying around. however i think that the dread knight would make a suitable basis for a conversion. or a seintiel if you want your lancers to look "fast".

You might want to go with 2 structure points since they only have 1 void shield. Also, are you trying to make these things similar to the knights that were in Mechanicus? I think those things had 1 titan sized weapon.
