The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all
We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.

An interesting take on those designs. I do like the size and bulk of these compared to other artillery pieces from other races.

Yay more Chaos Dorfs. At first I thought the rockets were some type of drill.

Same here, but I know temptation will die a sad death at the hands of Reality once the final cost of fielding a FW Chaos Dwarf army is added up!

Well there is a company making chaos dwarves if you just buy the war machines and special chars from fw it won't be so bad.
My 5 chaos dwarves will be lonely for a while tho.

These models are really disappointing. Sorry FW, you bombed these Chaos Dwarves

they're ok. You're surely not suggesting that the old ones were better?

So then what are you looking for when it comes to chaos dwarves? I mean theres really only two ways to do it, funny hats or short chaos warriors

It looks like a pretty bad miscast part in the second picture. I'm not sure if it's a cauldron or a loading mechanism/exhaust stack? The top of it looks all jacked up on one side.

Other than that I like the direction FW is taking with the chaos dwarves. It's just a shame that the cost to put an army like that together will be painfully expensive. I've been thinking of getting some Mantic abyssal dwarves anyway.

The same part looks perfectly fine in both the first and second picture though so thats a bit wierd. Im pretty sure its supposed to be a cauldron of magma though :]

Yeah, I saw the prices after conversion to USD and realized with the earlier CD release that this is NOT gonna happen.

I like these models OK... of the two options, I prefer "short chaos warriors" over "big hats", though.

Inside your mind, corrupting the pathways

I'm not the biggest fan of fantasy, but WTF? These are hideous and look like they were designed using the Banjo Kazooie Nuts & Bolts vehicle design tool.

The Chaos Dwarves look like a cross between ogres, orks and dwarves, yet lack the essential dwarf-y characteristic, so they just look like midget ogres with stupid beards.

The guy with a telescope looking over his shoulder looks particularly bad.

They are too "modern" looking for me, but then i would prefere a fantasy setting without gun powder-all these war machines could be replaced with bizare magical devices that fire bolts of lightning ect (like in some of the Moorcock books. (and no i dont mean lascannons).

WFB has had gunpowder/black powder weapons for... a long time now, and they fit in nicely with the Late Medieval Period look they have since established.

Chaos Dwarfs are the WFB world's mad engineers, and they have no problem combining science AND magic - the best of both worlds in order to bring the worst into the world!
