I came up with this post awhile ago but there have been a few new codexes and rule books sence this and thought it was time to update.
If for some reason GW were to ask you for advice to change ONE thing in any codex or rule book what would it be and why?
please keep down to earth. I too would like every IG to come equipped with power weapons and melta bombs for a cost of 1 point per model but that wouldnt be reasonable.
Also. no comments about price. We all want it to drop. Full price for finecast? seriously?
Mine would be 40k -- Space marine Sternguard Vets to have a BS 5. If their the best marksmen in the Chapter that would show it.
Fantasy-- Dwarfs slayers should have a 6+ ward save against missle weapons, to represent there determination to die one on one in hand to hand combat.

Personally, as an Eldar player, there are lots of things I'd like to have looked upon, but that's what happens being a 4th edition codex.
If I had to state one thing that I would really like changed, I'd like the Autarch to at least have access to some Eldar wargear. I know it's not that much of a bother (the Autarch that is), but as it is now, all he is good for is having extra attacks, a power weapon, a higher WS and I and then having an exact duplicate of the gear that your units run around with.
Give him something fun for the love of god: I doubt Direswords are only something Dire Avengers can get hold of (they are after all Force Weapon equivalents). I'm not saying what special wargear. But I mean, they are beaten in every aspect by the Archon as it is now and I believe the Autarch should be attractive, seeing as they are the only non-special character alternative to the Farseer.

True Line of sight based on the PHYSICAL model - damn bs!
1 cm straight above the base can see 1 cm above the enemy base for infantry, maybe 2-3 centimetres for monstrous creatures, and all weapon firing ranges on vehicles are measured from the exact center-point of the vehicle, or its flying stand's pole.
Besides, Cult terminators for chaos sound neat^^

Also compile the SM codexs. Just dedicate a page or two (like the C'tan, or Monoliths) to rules and some fluff, that change the entire army list (if you get my meaning)

Bring back inquisitorial stormtroopers! I liked em... Still doable with witch hunters but I'd like to have an ordo xenos force without grey knights or coteaz (I stopped playing daemonhunters/ GK after the new codex came out).

QFT, I'd like to see some more Autarch love.
How about remove some of the MEQ codecies? At the minute there are 6 of them, if you include the normal vanilla marines and the Grey Knights.
