Two things:

Celestians and Seraphim in he WD codex gain WS4.

All units in the new codex can use all Acts of Faith.

The people in the past who convinced themselves to do unspeakable things were no less human than you or I. They made their decisions; the only thing that prevents history from repeating itself is making different ones.

Love this one.

Mine would be: GW sells complete products for a reasonable price.

Not being able to buy a codec that includes the relevant FAQ when both have been out for years for less than a tank of gas is crazy.
Not to mention plastic, probably the cheapest medium ever, and 200grams of it costs $50!
Oh and the shear number of units that don't actually have models.
Do you have an ass and know how to sit? You could be a GW product developer!

I like how everyone seems to think that Mat Ward makes all of his codexes in a vaccum, with his door locked, and all the other GW employees pounding on the door, begging him to stop.

GW people: Please Mat Ward!!! Don't screw up all the codexes!!!!

Ward: Muahahahah!!! I'm giving purifiers the ability to kill half a unit before they even get a chance to strike!

GW people: No, don't do it Mat Ward! Don't skrew up the Grey knights codex!

Ward: And in the blood angels codex, i'll put the word 'Blood' before every piece of wargear in the codex!!! And have the Blood angels team up with necrons!!!

GW people: Stop Mat Ward!!! That's really stupid, your skrewing up the fluff!!!!

Ward: Muahahahahahah!!!!! No-one can stop me!!!!!

Really, GW has told us that the making a of a codex is not the product of one person's effort. They all work on it together. Mat Ward is just the unlucky sod who's name goes on the cover. For all we know, Ward may have written all the balanced parts of the codex, and did everything he could to fight infinante attack blood talon furiosos. Besides, half of the people who are howling for his blood barely know who he is, and are just jumping on the Hatorade bandwagon.

when their losing to an all power weaponas standard.you need someone to blame.

Cue Wards tortured sdcreams as he burns in hell for being invobvled in such a horrible codex.

You do know you can take HKMs for Sentinels and that 'kinda' fills that role.

Agreed, find GW's company president, he's your target boys and girls.

That good enough?

Anyway, I want to see Space Marine HQ units being able to take Dreadnought Armor: Dreadnought Captains, Dread Librarians, etc.

And a Mechanicus codex.

+1 to Dread HQs, aren't Libarians, Chaplains, and Captain/Masters just as important as the dumb sergeant that got heroically turned into swiss cheese? Actually a dread with the option to take a JP would be awesome. Cue Iron Monger from Iron Man...dooood ditty doo....*whistles*

Meh I'd counter the Squats arguement by wanting a Hurd (aka Space Skaven) army but so not to ruin my wish:

40K: Take away Necrons WBB back or make it a +6 with no teleport through the monolith reroll BS.

Fantasy: Bring back Dogs of War in full force. For Tilea! AND MONEY! ROAAAARRR! *ahem...excuse me for a minute*

Oh and bring in the Hurd...*darts off*

this is a good idea.as captain put into a dread is still captain of the company
and even if he is replaced, his word is law, whereas the none massive-hero-made-to-fight-because-they-are-humanities last-best-hope type captain's word is more of a suggestion.

+1 to the idea of having only 1 codex for all the marines!!! like it used to be in the 3rd ed... a little upgrade codex is enough to let you play a specific chapter...

MAKE THE CHAOS MARINES THE SUPERVILLAINS THEY'RE SUPPOSED TO BE!!!! .... and make new mini and new rules for the poor abaddon....

Allow Vanguard Vets to come equipped with jump packs as standard. If I'm paying 35 points for a vet and all I get is jump pack, bolt pistol and chainsword then I may as well buy termies. Once you've upgraded 1 or 2 Vanguards in the squad they become very pointy, and they're not that much better than the much cheaper Assault marine.

Blood Angels - Include Ironclad Dreadnoughts, Thunderfire Cannons and have Chaplains as HQ... I know its not advantageous 'game sense' but fluff wise it does.

Dark Angels - CML to be Heavy 2 and for the librarians to have more psychic powers.

Codex Marines - Make Sicarius less points.

Why buy expensive 40k at retail price?
