I'm loving my new camera, ok so I'm having to paint neater because it show up everything, but the sharpness and colours you get from this camera is amazing.

You know how people say their models look better in real life... I'm struggling to say that here, I think these pics came out great. I'm not using the camera on auto either, I'm using the manual setting.

Anyway enough babbling about my current gadget, here's the strike squad. Only took a week to build and paint. We had a rainy weekend, so I just cracked on with them.

I'm going to second this, though I'm not sure why - there's no way I'm going to be able to replicate these. They look absolutely fantastic.

They're not photoshopped mate. Painstakingly blended.

I like the look of the blades.

However, you may want to mix up the positioning of your shadows/highlights a bit so that the blades (mostly looking at the halberds) don't all look the same. That probably wouldn't be any challenge for you at all.

So basicly they took you a long time to blend, that sound reasonable

yeah they look awesome. I need my entire army painted like that, I am gonna show this to the person painting my army and say "I WANT THIS"

You really need to finish that tutorial on how you did their armor.

Either that, or you need to finish that tutorial for idiots like me to find the tutorial on how you did their armor. Either would be sufficient.

Excellent as always Gareth. Did you airbrush the blades or hand blend them?

Hand blend them. Takes forever but good to demonstrate skill with a brush from time to time.

I was about to say, that this is some serious fine airbrush-work.

That it is done by brush makes it that much more impressive!
