I would like some help with tyranid colour schemes for a friend of mine who is starting a tyranid force.

As our war gaming group play for the role-playing aspect of the game and have all painted our miniatures in fitting colours of our gaming board, I was wondering if anyone has any images of tyranids they feel are painted in a way that reflect a warrior beast designed for action on a desert planet with very little flora and a harsh rocky mountainous area.

Depends really on what colour your desert board is

Try googling for desert lizards, scorpions and snakes and mix and match the colors and patterns together.
