So I am tweeking and changing my 3k list (this has been happening non stop)

As I looked through the BRB I saw hey the razor standard is 45 pts and thats cool -1 to armor bu then above it 2 spots the wailing banner for 5 points more my warriors cause terror WHAT? I thought this was awesome since I have 5 spare points and its not a mega competitive list.

SO the question razor standard or wailing banner?

Terror being terror and -1 armor is -1 armor thoughts?

This is going on an 18 man unit of tz warriors with shield.

depends really.

terror would be better in general, as you get immune to terror/fear can force your opponent to take terror/fear.

That's what I was thinking I'll trycit put and see how it goes.

Try the wailing banner on Tzeentch Chosen with a champion with Favor of the Gods. Welcome to a death star unit A couple hellcannons and warshrines wouldn't hurt that list either

So favor on the champ effects the rolls of the shrines then that was the only thing I wasnt sure of if that worked that way but yes wailing banner for sure a bunch of shrines and a few hellcannons

Both work, and it really depends on the opponent.
Generally speaking, I put armor piercing on halberds. The difference between save -1 or -2 isn't huge, especially with a lot of attacks no wounding. Save -3 on the other hand does hurt.

I usually specialize my units; if your going to hit hard (halberd) hit really hard (razorbanner).
If you are going to anvil (tzeench with shields), really anvil (terror for the immunity, and possibly making your opponent WS1).

Mot shield warriors with rap standard for haha not going anywhere.

I'm thinking the wailing banner could bea hoot and a half.

Tz knights have blasted standard because I'm an @$$

(all tz all the time - the hellcannons but those will be blue and tz looking as well)

But you could free up your banner and jsut give him Favour and the sword that causes fear instead....then you could take the banner that gives em frenzy or some other goody like +1 movement

But a halberd will make him hit harder and who dosnt enjoy causing terror.

Since there will be 2 to 4 warshrine I'm sure adding 1 attack will happen and after they get the 3+ ward it's really not going to matter much I think.
But if the enemy becomes ws 1 what's not to like.
