Subject: What Animes do you watch or have watched??
Mezzo Forte is the last surprisingly good anime I watched. The original movie is NSFW; the rest of the series just contains an inordinate amount of blood.
I also enjoy Akira, FLCL, Appleseed Ex Machina, Ghost in the Shell, Ninja Scroll, Cowboy Bebop, Afro Samurai (Yes, I consider this to be an anime), and Outlaw Star.
My girlfriend just recently convinced me to sit through most of Trigun with her. Though it's decent, it's kind of hard to enjoy a show when you dislike the main character.

Haven't really seen any series, as there are few channels that show anime over here in the UK. Saw some of Cowboy Beebop, which was quite fun if a little Batgak insane.

My favorite anime was Strike Witches, but I've seen some other good ones including: Soul Eater, Highschool of the Dead, Bleach, Desert Punk, Ouran Host Club, and Darker then Black.

I watched Full Metal Alchemist, Naruto (which was good untill Sasuke became evil and the show turned into poop imo), closed case(something like that, it was called Detective Conan in Argentina) Dragonball, Dragonball Z, Dragonball GT, One piece and trigun (which I still have to finish)
Fullmetal alchemist was the best anime I have ever watched so far. Dragonball GT and Trigun are tied for second

I hate queens blade, huge boobs on all the girls, kind of offensive. I hate inuyasha, that whole teenage girl meets non-human dreamboy girly anime scenario does not entertain me.
I remember pokemon being big in russia when ruby/sapphire/emerald was released. The anime had many cute pokemon, but I hate that they all turned ugly when they evolve.
I can't wait for the touhou project to release an anime, I'm a big fan of all the games.

I never really liked FMA, Bleach, Dragonball Z or Naruto. There's a lot of weak animes out there. Either that or I'm just fussy.

Recommendation wise, just finished watching Baccano! on Netflix, was quiet good.
Even though my original post was a bit vague into what counts as an anime, so even Ova, despite being 3 eps long, could actually be classed as an anime.
Since it is based on a Manga then it counts as an anime to me, since the story isnt going to be over in 10-15 mins lol.
