i'd like to try Skarbrand plus calvalry to get away from typical Fate builds.

Here is a place where you could potential change some things. I think that perhaps 2-3 squads of 5 Horrors with Bolt (throw a Changeling into one) could be useful. They aren't great or all that reliable, but they would add some much needed ranged anti tank.

I think this should be good. The Screamers are good AV14 insurance.

Overall this list looks interesting. I'd love to know how it goes.

Skarbrand is pwn, good HQ choice. But the rest of the list could use some help...

1) Drop off the heralds, for that you could take a bloodthirster.

2) Good call on the fiends.... wish i had that many... =[

3) Plagues are nice and tough and with FnP they can withstand a lot of punishment. The reroll to hit makes them quite nice since they get the reroll to wound already on the psn attk.

4) Completely drop the seekers. They're not worth it.... If you do that take daemonettes instead, or better yet take hounds to get up close to tie up the enemy until the fiends can come charging in. Use the dogs as fodder to tie up the enemy and weaken them down for the fiends to finish.

5) Screamers are alright, but only good against tanks and light vehicles. I would consider taking something a bit more universal, and possibly a heavy support. my suggestion would be a grinder. They have antitank capability and can also take out lot of troops. They have fleet which can rush up and with 2 DCCW they can chop tanks in half.

I think if you are going to go with Skarbrand you need to go khorne all the way skulltaker, hounds, bloodletters, crushers, DP the works. Dont worry about winning its all about blood for the blood god! I have played Skarbrand lots of times I think he is just a lot of fun.

No! Dr_Chin, please compare the DP to the BT. The SG if BA FTW. YGM!? lol just kidding...

But seriuosly the Thirster is WAAAAAYYYY better than a DP and for heavy support take a few red soulgrinders to really scare the enemy! HAHA

Oh I agree 100% I BT is way better then a DP, and btw I do own 5 SG's for those fun apocalypse games lol.

My probelm with SG's everyone I play is MEQ and everyone has melta's and I am lucky to get to shoot on the second turn they come in on, its just brutal so I figured 4 wounds is better then one shot one klill.

It's a good list. Seekers will do you well and you run them in the correct size. I like the list a lot and if I had the models I would run something similar.

Not a huge fan of Skarbrand. Remember that he causes re-rolls for everyone, not just you! If you meet a dedicated assault squad (Terminators, Nobs, Blangels...) Skarbrand is going to be your worst enemy faster than he's your best friend.

I would take a standard bloodthirster over him any day. Plus, Skarbrands FoF hardly makes up for his winglessness.
